Hi Amy! Great minds I was going to say that - you beat me to it, but it's raining so hard here in Bristol that there was no chance to see a sunset today. Haven't seen it for a while. Is it still spherical? lol
I saw the sun today, for about a minute and then it disappeared again, I think that it has moved somewhere that is far far away from here! It is heaving with rain here too, we have men coming to cut our trees on Thursday, what chance they will actually do the work and stay dry! I think that we should get Betsy to swap us some snow for rain, but I think that she prefers the snow!!
Yep! she is hogging all the snow for her and those cats who crouch in it and ambush birds! Fancy that!! Well we are developing a coffee chat place between us. Anyone else want to join in and where is our hostess, Betsy? I expect she'll tell us soon she was eating her meal, washing up or entertaining the big kids. Don't believe a word of it!!! ROFL Nice talking - I feel like a Radio Ham.
It was gray and gloomy all day in Bend .. with an occasional snowflake. No snow on ground though. The mountain has plenty now which makes skiers euphoric.
What? That is it at your hut? Just a heart? The blog may fall apart After being so wordy You flip words the birdy But quite the shot indeed As always at your feed lol
the mr. just shoveled our driveway...8-9 inches with a crust of ice on the top. We have a long drive, so that was his workout for the day! ha. It sure is a pretty show, though...everything looks fresh and clean. I think I'm the only one still loving the snow. lol....
Beautiful sunset shot. Looks alive and almost as though there is a large fire going on with smoke
ReplyDeleteGosh! I was first tonight - a first for me!!
DeleteWell, look at you being first! :)
DeleteIt does look like fire, doesn't it?
Haha! How dies it go? "The first shall be last and the last shall be first!"
DeleteI am sure that you will always be first with everyone here Eddie! xx
DeleteOh you just like my Panda and Pig jokes lol.
DeleteNice of you to say that, Amy, but I'll settle for first equal with you guys! xx
I like the jokes, but it isn't because of that! xx
DeleteI know - just joking around as our lovely American cousins say. xx
DeleteTrue, Ed....it's your charm, not the jokes! :)
DeleteCharm, hmmmm, yes, probably, I think you are right Betsy!
DeleteWell . . . . . between you you have made me blush! ROFL
DeleteKeep it up - I like it!! LOL
Oh Eddie, it is waaaayyyyyyy too late for you to be ROFL!!
DeleteGuess you're right!
DeleteTime to turn in - let's hope the weather is better tomorrow.
It's already started snowing here! We'll be buried! haha.
Deletesweet dreams, you british bloggy friends. ;)
Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a few pretty ones recently!
DeleteSo have we but nothing quite this vivid! That is some amazing color!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed that the color gets richer the closer the sun gets to the horizon? So cool.
DeleteYes. Love sky watching! And bird watching. :) I guess you could say I love nature watching plain and simple.
DeleteI see your bluebird on my sidebar. :) I'll be over after dinner to have a look!
Deletepretty...
ReplyDeletefreezing rain tonight...so the sky is white here....
no color....just white...
Sounds like snow! Our sky will be white tomorrow!
DeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, it sure is!
DeleteThe sky is ablaze with the sound of music....I think I can hear a symphony looking at that marvelous sky.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly eye catching, isn't it? It was creating pink on my walls in the house!
DeleteBeautiful, and as Eddie says, it does look as though it is on fire. We have a saying here in old England, which goes like this
ReplyDeleteRed sky at night, shepherds delight, Red sky at morning, shepherds warning.
So, if this was tonight, perhaps the snow will not be so bad after all! xx
Maybe you're right! Unless the shepherds like snow. lol...
DeleteOur saying is very similar except it's sailors instead of shepherds!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it! It's all gone, though...and snowing! ha.
DeleteSaw when you posted this on FB - beautiful. Such saturated colours. Makes me almost feel warm!
ReplyDeleteDid you look at your personal FB video today? I saw mine as well as several others and they were kind of sweet.
I've seen others but not mine. I can't find mine! ha. Where would it be?

ReplyDeleteIsn't it? A stark contrast to the snow we woke up to this morning! You take color when you can get it! ha.
DeleteWe have snow here, too, though it looks like my son is going to school today. My train is running late, though.
ReplyDeleteBetsy, your blog prompted a discussion (of sorts) about autism with my son during the Super Bowl. I wrote about it this morning.

ReplyDeleteThe sun today was again highly conspicuous by its absence here
No sun here today, either. Very grey...lots of snow, though!
DeleteAren't they gorgeous? This one is very fiery.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are! No sunset here today, though...it's very grey and snowy!
