Making Jewelry

I spent a good part of the weekend in my studio
creating some jewelry.  Fun, fun!
I put them in the shop and some have already sold!
Here are some of my favorites...

Are you watching the Super Bowl?
I am....kind of. ha.
Ok...back to the game!

  1. First comment......live from Lexington Kentucky.....where there is freezing rain and a winter storm warning!
    For the love of god!!!
There was hardly any snow when we drove thru Ohio....then....it started snowing in Kentucky...which turned to freezing rain!
Oh...by the way....your jewellery is lovely, Betsy....is there no end to your talents?
Also.....where do you find the time?
Enjoy the game....I am watching out of my bad eye! HA!
    Waiting for Downton Abbey...♥️
    Cheers!

    1. Freezing rain? Ugh! Rain washed away most of our snow today. This time tomorrow hopefully you'll be in some warm weather!

    1. The half time wasn't slow.
The rest has been a sad, sad show.

    1. Me, too...I was happy to hear he was the half time entertainment. Very nicely done! I love the retro 60's thing he has going on.

  4. Forgive me - I am going to put in a plug for you! I own several pieces of Betsy's jewellery and am about to own a few more - they really are exquisite. The care and attention to detail, as well as her clever imagination, result in unique and creative keepsakes. And Valentine's Day approaches... just sayin'! xo

  5. So pretty! I am tending to think like Linda. Is there any end to your talents?
Can you send some over this way, please?
I waited in a long line yesterday to wash my van. No sooner was it clean then it started to snow. No big deal... I went into the grocery store and by the time i came out the roads were wet and yucky and my car wash was for naught. If it's nice on Tuesday after Bible study, I'll be taking advantage of that second "free" wash.

    1. There is a lot of muddy ground around here that was exposed by the rain. :( I'd much rather look at a fresh blanket of snow!
The Mr. washed my jeep yesterday....can't tell anymore! haha. Maybe he'll wash it again for me for free. lol....

And Hip Hip Hooray for the Seattle Seahawks for winning!

  14. This was a "freaky" Super Bowl from the first hand off to the final score. I was rooting for Manning, but the Seahawks were just younger, tougher, faster, and deserved to win. But the snacks and dinner made by my daughter were the highlight of the day.

Your jewelry is so darling, and meaningful. Love the pearls of wisdom.

  17. Dear Betsy,
I'm coming here every day to marvel at your daily achievements and enjoy the richness and variety of your nice, witty, creative, touching ideas, photos, thoughts... Unfortunately I have to be extremely busy at the moment to meet some deadlines. So I am so sorry, that I was not able to comment on all your brilliant and so entertaining posts! Little Tavin with his heartbreakingly sad eyes, your project to instill more kindness in our world, your cat comic... all so wonderful! And then you also create such pretty jewelry! As Ohio is a bit far to just drop by and leave a big bunch of flowers, I want at least to thank you for all your warm, sensible, sensitive and beautiful posts!
And as to your visit at my 'blue hours in Alsace': yes, I agree, we all can need some heavenly blue now and then! I just decided to order a blue dress for spring!
    Hugs & love

P.S. Yes, we even watched Super Bowl here in Germay. The world has been getting quite small in some sense!

  18. What a multi-talented young lady you are. Very impressive jewellery creativity. Love the "Don't look back - you're not going that way".
I expect the boys were watching the super bowl.
My daughter, Selina, makes jewellery also when she has time . . . .and sells it, or used to.
Quite therapeutic to do so I would think . . . . but I make bird boxes and tables.
