First comment......live from Lexington Kentucky.....where there is freezing rain and a winter storm warning! For the love of god!!!There was hardly any snow when we drove thru Ohio....then....it started snowing in Kentucky...which turned to freezing rain!Oh...by the way....your jewellery is lovely, Betsy....is there no end to your talents?Also.....where do you find the time?Enjoy the game....I am watching out of my bad eye! HA!Waiting for Downton Abbey...♥️Cheers!Linda :o)
Freezing rain? Ugh! Rain washed away most of our snow today. This time tomorrow hopefully you'll be in some warm weather!
Fun funNice to get things doneAnd great job indeedAs always at your feedWatch that slow arse thing?Nope, better things to do at my wing haha
The half time wasn't slow. The rest has been a sad, sad show.
Love these! Especially the heart bracelet and pearls of wisdom necklace.Just watched the halftime show. Absolutely love Bruno Mars!
Me, too...I was happy to hear he was the half time entertainment. Very nicely done! I love the retro 60's thing he has going on.
Forgive me - I am going to put in a plug for you! I own several pieces of Betsy's jewellery and am about to own a few more - they really are exquisite. The care and attention to detail, as well as her clever imagination, result in unique and creative keepsakes. And Valentine's Day approaches... just sayin'! xo
Aw, thanks! You're such a sweetie...and a great customer! And people...that pearls of wisdom necklace is going to her! SO fun!
So pretty! I am tending to think like Linda. Is there any end to your talents? Can you send some over this way, please?I waited in a long line yesterday to wash my van. No sooner was it clean then it started to snow. No big deal... I went into the grocery store and by the time i came out the roads were wet and yucky and my car wash was for naught. If it's nice on Tuesday after Bible study, I'll be taking advantage of that second "free" wash.
There is a lot of muddy ground around here that was exposed by the rain. :( I'd much rather look at a fresh blanket of snow! The Mr. washed my jeep yesterday....can't tell anymore! haha. Maybe he'll wash it again for me for free. lol....
Cute, cute, cute! We're watching and that's surprising because we never watch football, However, Heathers boyfriend is here watching so I guess it's his doing! We did like halftime!
for once the half time didn't disappoint. haha...maybe the men just do it better than the ladies....no wardrobe malfunctions, no blurring out of crude gestures...lol....
Beautiful jewels Betsy, you are so talented, as the others have said, I like your vintage turned Betsy style. Such a nice way to spend the weekend when the weather is horrid. xx
It was a fun weekend. There's something therapeutic about puttering in that studio! We have blue skies and sun today....wow...what a change. Snow tomorrow, though! haha.
Good for you, so pretty and it sounds like a great way yo relax. . I only watched snatches of it. Mainly when I carried the pizza downstairs to the guys :)
I served my guys pizza during the game, too! :)
Of course you did. Great minds... and all that! ha
cute....i like the soft green and blue and how they play together.....eh, you probably were better off making jewelry than watching that game...
The little bits I saw were pretty painful!
Personally, I think you should model your creations for the photos! (smiling)Vince xo
but of course you do. lol....
I love pearls Betsy (my favorites for earrings) and these look absolutely beautiful! Is ok earrings? Im very silly today:)))))
Pearl earrings? Why yes...that's a classic! Lovely!
Hip Hip Hooray for you on creating those beauties! And Hip Hip Hooray for the Seattle Seahawks for winning! This town hasn't settled down yet. Maybe after the parade!
Oh, I am sure you're happy happy today! :)
Cute pieces there! YAWN over that Super Bowl. I do enjoy the delicious snacks though!
snacks and commercials....the only reason I get excited. ha.
This was a "freaky" Super Bowl from the first hand off to the final score. I was rooting for Manning, but the Seahawks were just younger, tougher, faster, and deserved to win. But the snacks and dinner made by my daughter were the highlight of the day.Your jewelry is so darling, and meaningful. Love the pearls of wisdom.
Yes, it was a strange one! Glad you had fun people and food, though! :)
They're all pretty, but I'm loving the first one! How creative! :)
I love that first one, too! :)
Beautiful pieces! Love the fish plate and also the acts of kindness you posted.
thanks lana...feel free to join in, too, if you want to!
Dear Betsy, I'm coming here every day to marvel at your daily achievements and enjoy the richness and variety of your nice, witty, creative, touching ideas, photos, thoughts... Unfortunately I have to be extremely busy at the moment to meet some deadlines. So I am so sorry, that I was not able to comment on all your brilliant and so entertaining posts! Little Tavin with his heartbreakingly sad eyes, your project to instill more kindness in our world, your cat comic... all so wonderful! And then you also create such pretty jewelry! As Ohio is a bit far to just drop by and leave a big bunch of flowers, I want at least to thank you for all your warm, sensible, sensitive and beautiful posts! And as to your visit at my 'blue hours in Alsace': yes, I agree, we all can need some heavenly blue now and then! I just decided to order a blue dress for spring!Hugs & loveChristelP.S. Yes, we even watched Super Bowl here in Germay. The world has been getting quite small in some sense!
aw, Christel...you made me cry....
What a multi-talented young lady you are. Very impressive jewellery creativity. Love the "Don't look back - you're not going that way".I expect the boys were watching the super bowl.My daughter, Selina, makes jewellery also when she has time . . . .and sells it, or used to.Quite therapeutic to do so I would think . . . . but I make bird boxes and tables.
thanks for calling me young. ha. :)
lol Only a young one would walk pigeon-toed in red wellies - as per your new header!! lolSays he, ducking!! But you do look young1
haha...when I glanced at your comment I thought you said I walked like a duckling. lol....
Well maybe you do!! lolCan't really say from this side if the pond can I?Hey I don't know what's going on with your stock market, and others! Quite disturbing! We'll all be walking like bears soon!
oh, I know! Blame our president. Ugh. Obviously, I didn't vote for him.
OK Happy to blame him! Actually I cannot find any US blogging pals who do like him - Reminds me - I'm sending an email about him if I can find it. Rummage, Rummage, yes got it!.
Oh, there are plenty who like him. I just don't comment on those posts. ha. Enough like him to elect him twice. Don't know what they were thinking.
Just emailed something you might find surprising.
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
