Snow Lovely!

It's 1 F degrees!
And with the windchill, it's -10F!
Nice day to stay inside.
I went outside to fill the bird feeder and took along
a paper towel and a bottle of Windex to clean the
window that is beside my desk so I could
see the birds better.
That Windex froze as it sprayed out of the bottle!
haha...quite amazing and I'm sure I was a
funny sight out there trying to wipe that glass clean!
Stay warm!

  1. What a bright white sight! (Pat should like that sentence) That is, if you like snow, which I don't particularly. But we have been slogging through torrential rain and flooding so it almost looks appealing to me! (smiling) Nice to see photoes of your home. Quite a charming little place! And as much as I enjoyed these photos, I couldn't help but page down to see your beaming face on the Five Guys post. Now that smile would brighten anyone's day, milady, even through gloomy rain drops!

    Cheers!

  14. Lucky you - proper snow. We have rain, rain and more rain in London. Mid-morning and it's so gloomy I feel like taking myself back to bed with a hot water bottle and a DVD. Yes, I know that's unutterably lazy but some days are just so grim. My SLOC is in Switzerland so it's only me here to make the house untidy... I'm all up to date with the laundry.... why not retire to bed? Well, maybe I really should get on with my curtaineering project. Great cat photo!

  17. Those are some beautiful pictures of your backyard and how the snow has turned it into a winter wonderland. I also like the picture of you in your boots. I kept wondering if you were freezing and shaking while standing there. I know I would have been. Also love the cat picture, he almost seems oblivious to the snow. Well stay warm and keep the pictures coming. Oh and how are the boys handling it while staying home? Are they watching every train movie they have? I hope they are having fun.

    God bless.

    1. No, I wasn't cold, except for my hands...but I didn't have gloves on so I could work my camera. I'm sure it would feel much colder to you since we've been conditioned to it. The boys are having a ball....staying in their jammies all day. They each have their own laptop and a dvd player in their bedroom, so it's youtube/movie city there in their man cave. haha. When I go in, they kindly give me a little push out the door and close it behind me. lol....
