A Double Strand Vintage Beauty

I made this necklace today.
Oh, and I'd love to keep it, too!
But it's in the shop tonight and maybe some lucky
lady will find it under the Christmas tree!

I brought home a Laguna vintage crystal bead necklace
from the auction this week.  It's second strand was broken
and missing.  So, I added grey fresh water pearls,
sheer organza ribbon and a 1 carat round CZ solitaire pendant,
set in sterling silver.  Sterling holds the new parts together....

Vintage crystal and rhinestones hold the old parts together.

I love the result with the vintage and new together!
A one of a kind creation!
What a pity if I hadn't saved it from the trash!

Sorry for the photo quality.
Blogger is insisting on making my crisp white photos dark blue!
We've fought about it a good hour.
Blogger won for now. lol....I'll edit later if it will let me.

    1. nope....this is a one of a kind. :) I could make something similar but not exactly like it. For one thing, I don't have another solitaire to put on it! ha.
