Yes, I think it will! haha. I promised myself I wouldn't touch it. One year I bought it all a few weeks early and hid it, but I kept sneaking pieces and I actually ate it all and had to buy more. Yeah, not one of my finer moments. lol....
The big kids were here for dinner last night and were nibbling...but that's ok. :) I bought enough for a few nibblers...just not me.
I picked up 2 boxes today...assorted bars...smarties...kit kat...mars...the usual... Perhaps Miss V will come this year, and help me hand out the goodies!! Now....fess up....how many have you eaten??? hahaha! Enjoy your evening....♥
I have a stash on the top of the fridge, but they got broken into today to keep my hubby going whilst doing the painting, I'll have to get another bag tomorrow! Oh well, it's only candy. xx
I like the cat behind the candy, and the bird looking on... I have a Pumpkin Candy Jar full of corn candy, which I found at Target. Also have some assorted candy in a Fall Candy dish. I, like you, did not buy Mounds or Almond Joy, because I wouldn't be able to resist.
your favorites, too? I found a recipe for Martha Washingtons. which look like homemade almond joys. I haven't made them yet but plan to for Christmas. I'm sure they will be wonderful...and I will eat most of them. ha.
I like that interesting black cat... I remember him/her from another post. He and the chalk cat should chat. I noticed on Pinterest that you posted some kitty pics... are you longing for a little one now that your others are grown? :-) Wish we had Butterfingers here - they aren't in Canada. But I have a wonderful friend in North Carolina who knows I love them and he sends them to me. Cross border snacking!
Yeah, remember him? He was in the auction trash. Looks like he was mounted on the side of a barn for many years and kids played with his marble eyes and wore the paint off around them. Wish he could talk. ha.
Oh, Butterfingers...yes, I think I could eat a whole bag of those, too. ha.
I'm doing pretty well on the list, aren't I? Another month to go...feeling pretty good about it...unless this cold continues...nobody is going to make s'mores and roasted hot dogs if it's sleeting and freezing outside. ha.
Your goodies look pretty darn good and I would gobble them all up and just not answer the door. Hubby bought a big bag from Costco about a month ago and I hid it somewhere so everyone would stay out of it. The problem is that I have no idea where I hid it. I guess I will have to buy some more. Amazon has some really good a deals on candy and it is delivered in two days usually. Love the snow pics too. We are still in the 80's but Monday we finally cool down to the 60's for a few days then warm up again. Would love to use the fireplace. Stay warm!!
Will it last until the Big Night?
ReplyDeleteJames wanted to know if I bought any Halloween candy and I just laughed.

ReplyDeletehaha...I just love your clever comments. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of myself. I've resisted for a full 24 hours. haha.
