Pedicure Party and Giveaway August 30, 2013

Well, here we are in the last month of summer!
I don't know about you, but my toes were in need of a fresh
pedicure!  I did something a little different that I saw on Pinterest
a few places, which was to add apple cider vinegar to your water
that you soak your feet in.  I was a little leery, but it did make
my feet soft, like it promised!  And I didn't smell like a pickle all
day like I thought I might! haha.
I bought myself a bottle of Impeccable Greys just like in the
giveaway prize.  It's a little dark...almost black with three coats on,
but that's ok...it shows of my white hearts and polka dots
better that way!

And in case you've forgotten what the giveaway prize is,
it's a package of pampering Burt's Bees products and
two Maybelline bottles of nail polish in pink and grey!

Yes, I will ship anywhere in the world, so feel free to join in!

Just post a picture of your pedicure on your blog
and link up below so others can visit you!
And I do ask that you visit all the people that join the
party.  Getting to visit and meet each other is the whole point!

You have until midnight, Friday, August 30th to enter.

I've been working on a better way to organize and display
my expanding seashell collection all week.
I had to smile as I looked up the name of this type of
shell.  Mermaid Toenails!  They are thin, flat and round
and come in pale, shimmery colors.  Lovely!
And very timely and appropriate, given our party this week!

Winner of the giveaway will be announced over the weekend
so come back and check out who the lucky person is!

But I will tell you that in my seashell collection there's a jar of baby ears and one of kitten paws! lol....

    2. Toenails, ears, and paws? Sounds more like Stephen King's seashell collection.

      Delete
    3. Doesn't it? There are others, too. Sailor's ears are pretty cool. And putting them in jars seems even more sinister. lol.

    2. I think the easiest way to take a picture of my toes is to point the camera down at my feet and snap. Next time I'll have to remember to flip MY picture for variety :-)

  17. Sorry I couldn't join in the Party this time. Will be getting a pedicure before we leave for the Wedding up North and our week at Lake Tahoe. I'll go with a nice Fall color, maybe a shade of Coral, or something darker like Cobble Stone. You ladies all have delightful toes, and I like your b&w too.

    1. We missed you and your lovely feet, Wanda! Your toes will be pretty for your trip. But fall isn't for another month! I'm not quite ready to bring out the fall colors just yet. But Cobble Stone sure sounds lovely!

    2. I like the Cobble Stone. It's a cross between brown and brick. Darker than I usually wear, but maybe I'll have her add a yellow sunflower!! If I do... I'll post a picture.

    3. That sounds fun...I'd love to see that! :)
