Fresh off the Bus Today...

Apparently, Halloween was the theme in art today!
I could tell he cut it out himself....great job!
The other two didn't wear theirs all the way home.
I'm sure the bus driver and aide got a chuckle. :)

Friday is the pedi party!

  3. I'm so glad he is coming home happy, the words aid and bus just made me panic again, our Gracie starts next week and our whole family is in stress mode, she can't communicate and we have no idea how we explain to her about whats going to happen, I certainly admire you for going through this with three children, that must have been such a challenge.

    1. My boys would have been that way, too, Laurie...that's why we took them for a tour before they started there. Then I went the first day..rode the bus and stayed through lunch. Something about mom being there made them relax and know it was all ok...then they were fine to go the next day because they knew what to expect. Just a thought, but I think it made all the difference in the world. And it helped me, too...knowing what the bus is like and meeting the aide and driver and peers, etc. I just couldn't put them on the bus the first day and let it drive off. Just thinking of their anxiety wouldn't let me do it!
