Do you have a summer garden this year?
How is it doing?
Some things in my garden have done very well, like cucumbers
and tomatoes. We're eating them daily...so yummy!
I think I'll try some pickles soon!
Other things just did ok...like jalapenos and zucchini.
And my bell peppers didn't do well at all...I never picked one! ha.
At least the tomatoes are great...they're our favorite anyway!
And Nugget is loving the lettuces, which are still going strong!
Don't forget the pedi party and giveaway on Friday!
I have NOT given myself a pedicure yet!
Nothing like waiting til the last minute. lol...
Hope to see your pretty piggies then!

I love your tomatos look beautiful, I hope can plant some tomates in a part the dogs dont make a mess.!
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies love lettuces too!
It's cheaper to feed Nugget in the summer than in the winter! haha.
DeleteHe love his lettuces...in the winter I buy it for him at the grocery! Especially kale.
We always buy lettuces and carrots to them and we sharing with the bunnies:)
Deletedo your rabbits eat carrots? Nugget won't!
Deleteyes the girls (bunnies) love them ! what curious Nugget dont like!
Deletethe girls...haha..that's so cute. :)
DeleteHave you found any faces, yet?
ReplyDeletehaha...no! No faces in my garden veggies. How boring!
DeleteYum, I'll eat the extra cucumbers! :)
ReplyDeleteMy garden looks a bit like a jungle. I think I will go out there with the weed eater to gain some control again. lol
that's how my lettuce patch looks!
Deleteah there is nothing like summer veg....and tomatoes...they are my fav...on a sandwich with mayo...smiles.
ReplyDeleteexactly! my fave!

Deletelooks beautiful, I just have a patio garden but it did well, good year for growing,
ReplyDeleteIt's just been a good summer...cooler and lots of rain...at least for you and me. :)
DeleteAwwww...is that basket for moi???
ReplyDeleteI'll be over in the morning...I like green tea!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
haha...yeah, you need more cucumbers! :)
DeleteOur cucumbers, summer squash, and watermelons look like they've given up. Too many cold nights, I guess. We're still picking tomatoes and corn, and will soon have a bumper crop of butternut squash which I think might make some mighty tasty "pumpkin" pie. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and then there are those Jack-o-lanterns growing in my flower garden...
I've never grown pumpkins...sounds so fun! Yes, butternut squash will make really yummy pies! Mmmmm!
DeleteI left a rotting field pumpkin in my flower garden last year. Oops. :)
DeleteI always put my Halloween pumpkins in my back garden...but nothing grows!
DeleteYou surely have the green thumb, Martha!
And...that pesky red squirrel eats it all winter!
The squirrels seem to keep away here much better than before the cats adopted me. ha.
DeleteHi Betsy .. would love to have a garden - one day I'll get one again. Your veggies sound delicious .. sad about the ones that didn't quite take this year ... enjoy your greens - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteyeah, but we are enjoying the good ones. Not sure why some did great and others not.
DeleteIt seems like your garden is coming along perfectly Betsy, the vegetables all look just perfect to me!
ReplyDeleteLoving the good stuff, that's for sure!
DeleteIt is so wonderful to have veggies from the garden and yours look delicious. Pickles...great idea for those cucumbers...and you can enjoy them in winter.
ReplyDeleteI never have good luck with making pickles. I'm browsing Pinterest for a good recipe. :)
DeleteOur lettuce, spinach and cucumbers have done really well, but our tomatoes are just starting to ripen. Everyone around here says that the cooler, less humid weather we've had lately has slowed down their ripening. The fresh tomatoes are what I look forward to the most!
ReplyDeleteI agree...they are the best part! Nothing like grilling a burger and topping it with a garden tomato!
DeleteI can take or leave the tomatoes -- I prefer cherry or grape tomatoes -- but I love cucumbers!
ReplyDeletethe taste the same, don't they? :)
DeleteThe big ones are messier if you try to eat them as a snack. Ha.
ReplyDeletetry a fork and knife! :)
DeleteThat's no fun! :)
DeleteI've got a few herbs... that's good, for me!
ReplyDeleteyum!
Deleteoh yummy!
ReplyDeleteeven though I love fall and winter, I will miss my garden veggies!
DeleteI pine for a garden spot!! Your veggies look delicious! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeletePlant one! I know you have a green thumb!
