Fresh Peaches

A friend of ours brought us peaches from her tree yesterday!
I peeled and sliced 16 cups and put them in the freezer.
I'm thinking about taking a peach crisp to the auction this week
to share with my coworkers.  Yum!  I wonder if that may
cause a riot with the bidders.  Do you think they'd be
upset I didn't bring enough to feed all 200+ of them? ha.

    1. That's bowl's been up on my top kitchen shelf and I took it down and ran it through the dishwasher to get the dust off. Then when it came out all clean, I thought I'd leave it down and use it. It's so pretty...just makes working in the kitchen a little happier. :)

Tell your sister that's just not fair! ha.

  5. You better hide it if you take some dessert to the auction. Those bidders will have money to spend and they may go crazy with your delicious baking.
    Aren't fresh peaches the best?

I have plans to make jam, maybe raspberry peach jam... or maybe blackberry jam, because that is what I will be finding in my backyard in a week or so.

  15. I have been trying in vain to comment here for a couple of weeks, for some reason blogger is being selfish! LOVE the wedding pictures and the other bits and pieces that I see now and then. Today, I am loving peaches. I am going tomorrow to get a box of them and will probably just sit and eat a few before I remember that I have other things to do! So I'm still around even if you don't hear from me. have a good week!
