I was wondering how much fun the boys had, I thought about them so much after you told us they were doing this, what a treat,
It was a very nice time! It wasn't quite as hot or humid and there was a nice breeze all day.The train was beautiful and so was the scenery!
I would love to do that! Maybe I'll do a little bit of googling...Or maybe I'll put it on my list of things to do this fall. :)
I got to check it off my summer list! It really was very fun. We've done others but the trains weren't as nice...or the scenery...and it was incredibly hot...almost not enjoyable! This one was perfect! It would be lovely in the fall with all the colors...sounds like a plan!
OH I love this. What a wonderful day for the boys after the wedding! You did wonderful things with the whole family the whole weekend! Wedding and Trains! What more could you ask for!
The boys were SO excited! They deserved something fun after being so good for three days of traveling, dinners and occasions where they had to be out of their comfort zone. I'm so proud of them!
Looks like a blast!
It was so fun, we rode it more than once. :)
Makes me happy to know they (and you) :) loved it! I agree, the scenery on that ride is beautiful!
The only thing missing from the day was you! :)

Oh what a blast! The train is so pretty inside. Just love the pictures of The Mister..we don't get to see that often, and he looks like a happy passenger. What a treat for the boys. HaHa I love the peeking out the window. Fun, Fun, Fun.

We really did enjoy it. They certainly deserved a treat!
With all the love the boys have for trains, do you think it lived up to their dreams? It certainly looks like a great ride and that everyone enjoyed it.
I think it did live up to their dreams! We hadn't ridden a train in several years. This was by far the nicest one. They were just so excited...so fun to watch them!
Hi Betsy,It looks like everyone had a very special train ride with gorgeous scenery to see along the way. I hope the boys got a lot of souvenirs to bring back with them. I so enjoyed the pictures you shared with us.God bless.
They did pick out a few things...mostly DVD's. :)

How fun! I'm so glad you had the opportunity to do this with your sweet boys.
We were, too...and it was only about 20 minutes away from the wedding! How perfect is that?
The photos are delightful ... the last one? Priceless.
Isn't it? It's my favorite. That's Spencer. He SO enjoyed himself!
This looks like so much fun Betsy, I know one gentleman in specific who must have absolutely loved this experience!
I know three! ha.
Well I bet this was enjoyable What lovely train ride through such beautiful countryside.
I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the train was! I knew the Amish countryside would be lovely, though. And the weather cooperated! yay! :)
Looks like a lot of fun--noticed the crossed fingers--a little anxiety--but so much happiness on everyone's faces!!!!
Yeah, just a little anxiety when we were buying our tickets. Then he was alright. Didn't enjoy it as much as the other two, but still did pretty well. :) He stuck by my side...he's my little shadow. :)
Such a great travelogue! I noticed the crossed fingers, but hopefully they slowly uncrossed as the train chugged. I love the last photo too - tells of a very satisfying day. But I also adore the pics of the Mister and those gorgeous wooden windows with the leaded glass. Beautiful. And another favourite is the huge willow tree providing a giant cow umbrella! Great photos!
Aren't those windows beautiful? I was impressed!
Hi Betsy .. lovely photos especially the one of your hubby - that's great ... love the countryside .. Cheers Hilary
