I bet they won't forget this trip for a long time, our daughter and grand daughter spent two hours today with the Autistic doctor, our journey is just beginning!
They are already looking at my photos and we're talking about our fun trip! :)Hope things went well today! I remember that feeling...exhausted and a little overwhelmed. Hope they are encouraged, though after a long day!
Ok, now I'm starting to think I would enjoy going to Strasburg. :)
Of course you would! But that bumpy train ride might put you into labor. ha.
I can believe he would enjoy another train ride!! ;) Great photos! I know they enjoyed this adventure!! blessings ~ tanna
yes, they really did have a great time! We rode the train more than once because it was so much fun!
What a great museum! Almost makes want to plan a trip tomorrow. Do you think Vinnie would like it too? ;)Rochester has a small train and transportation museum too, but nothing quite like that one. Hm, maybe I could convince James to agree on another get-away weekend. :)
I think Vinnie would love it! Tell James it's suddenly appeared on your summer to do list. :)
I see some precious family album pictures here. What a great time for the boys and Dad. Love the shots of the Mister holding their hands.Your caption on the last picture had me laughing out loud. Is that big trouble from Mom or Dad...?? haha
that day, it would have been trouble from Dad. ha. The hand holding was just for that purpose...no escaping! lol....
I bet the kidz had a lovely time! what gun and I lobe how they love trains! nice pictures Betsy!:)

I imagine the boys were in locomotive heaven .. dad too? I love looking at photos of them together, three peas in a pod.
haha...when I was pregnant with them, I called them three peas in a pod! :)
Very cool place! Bet the boys had a great time : )
Lots of fun! Too bad it's not closer to us!
Dear Betsy, I am very glad, the boys could have this wonderful and exciting visit and all these extraordinary days! Obviously they did well with all these big attractions, adventures, challenges. So you all have quite a few precious family memories now, haven´t you? But I presume, that you might need one or two really tedious days now?Take careChristel
Oh yeah...I was so tired yesterday, our first full day back! I puttered around the house and did laundry...that's about it! lol....
So glad to see that the boys had such a great day, I had a feeling that they would adore this trip, great photos!
thanks matt...it was fun to see them enjoying themselves so much!
Wonderful photographs of what seems to be a grand day out. One of these days you will cross to this side of the pond and I will take you all to the national Railway Museum in York.
Well, you know that not only would we enjoy York, but the traveling to get to you! :)
Your photos brought back memories from my childhood.
Did they? Sometimes I think the boys were born a few decades late. They would have loved the 40's and 50's!
Hi Betsy .. such lovely photos - and what a great place for the boys to have visited, let alone the train ride - bet there'll be many trips across country now??!!I wanted to ask what the boys listen to ... is it music, or train 'noises' ... ? I'll keep the post open and check back in anon ..So pleased all went well .. and thank goodness the boys like to travel .. cheers Hilary
Those are noise-cancelling headsets. They have very sensitive hearing and it bothers them in loud, crowded places or places with loud music. Alex wears them the most but once in a while the other two want them on.
Awwwwww your beautiful boys are up to mischief! LOL!! Oh and I definitely agree - the Railway Museum in York converted me into a train spotter! Seriously!!! Take carex
You and Alan have both mentioned the museum in York. I know the boys would enjoy that so much!
Wow, that looks like a great place. Very charming! So wonderful that the boys got to enjoy it!
Charming is a good word for it...I loved how neat, clean and efficient it was...certainly a place to see again!
Glad you all had such a terrific time.
Thanks, Silver...but we knew they'd love it, right?

They can be so badand run away, those three lads!Have to be on our toesand watch where ever they go!
What a wonderful museum! I've been to the train museum in Sacramento, but this one looks like it is much more extensive. What a great outing for the boys.
It would be fun to ride across the country and map out all the museum/attraction stops, wouldn't it? Some day...
That's such a fun museum! I remember going there when I was a kid. Great photos, it looks like you had a nice time.
It's been fun to hear who has been there! Several of you!
It definitely looks like they enjoyed searching for souvenirs and as I was looking at the pictures I was thinking about how much they will enjoy seeing the pictures you took. I think you have four happy men this week. And a happy cat.God bless.
Jack is in my lap as we speak...or type. ha. I was at the grocery and he was happy to see me when I got home. I think he was afraid I'd be gone for 5 days again! lol....
Field Trip Day! I love field trips. They sure do look like they liked the outing!
I think of these 3 boys whenever I see trains or anything train related now.
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
