Invisalign Finish Line

Nineteen months ago I had my first orthodontist appointment
for those nifty adult braces that are clear plastic and
almost undetectable while you are wearing them.
I'd always had a slight overbite and over recent years
had started moving my teeth with my stress-induced
teeth grinding at night.  Good grief!

So, I went back to Taylor's orthodontist since we
liked him so much and because he helped invent
the Invisaligns, too!
Oh..and because he's just so much fun!
Here I am with him for some of my 'after' pictures today.
Remember Jack winning that Cutest Pet Photo Contest?
That was from his office, too!
He really knows how to enjoy his job. :)

I had permanent retainers put in so I can't grind them back
into a crooked position. haha.  We know my stress isn't going
to go away, but at least my smile will stay! hahaha.
If you're in the area and need some work done, I highly
recommend him.  Click HERE for his website.  He said I look
like Hollywood glam...and thanks to him, I feel like it!

P.S. Thanks so much for ALL the love on my last post. xo

    1. I rinse with peroxide every day.
Cheaper than Crest Strips at my bay. ha.
      Yes, he has fun indeed
with a photo booth and slushy machine at his feed.
Guess we pay enough for extra fun
from beginning til when we're done.
      hahaha.

    2. As in hydrogen peroxide?
Isn't that nasty for a mouth tide?
Killing all good and bad stuff
      Either one is says tough
Yeah he sure rakes in the dough
That is easy enough to know
And crest strips don't work well anyway
      I find at my bay

    3. Yep, that's the stuff! It's the active ingredients in any tooth whitener. Just hold a sip in your mouth around your front teeth for 1 minute before brushing every day. Don't swish it around or you'll be foaming at the mouth. lol.... Takes a couple of weeks to see a difference but then by 30 days,
      you'll be amazed.
      And the price is nice,
      just like my advice.
ha. Added a rhyme just for you
so you don't turn blue. lol....
      :)

to be sick and take his turn!
He didn't want to be left alone
      like some healthy clone.
      hahaha.

    1. LOL!!!! That face I'm making does look a bit like Mr. Ed. :) Did you know they put peanut butter on the roof of his mouth so when he tried to get it off, he looked like he was talking? So funny! haha. He kind of wrinkled up his nose like that, too! hahaha.

  10. You look beautiful! Good for you. Some people (like me) would be too self concious to do this. My bottom teeth are a little crooked from sucking my thumb as a child, but hubs says it gives me personality! Thank heavens for blind love!!

Have a great day tomorrow at the graduation. Your smile will dazzle everyone!

    XO,
    Jane

I too am very happy with my dentist ... oh yes .. tomorrow is the boys' day .. have a very happy time .. big hugs - Hilary

  15. Lovely smile!! I had braces as a teenager, but mine were the ugly metal ones. :) Good luck finding a stress reliever. :) My hubby target practices, for stress relief. Maybe you should try that. :)

    1. well, lucky you for getting it over with when you were young and your parents paid for it! hahaha.
Now, target practice is a great suggestion. I can hit a lemon with a pellet gun. Maybe I should take that up as a serious hobby! :)

      Delete
    2. I'm sorry, but I just have to ask. Why were you shooting at a lemon? :)

      Delete
    3. Well, that was target practice! Lemons and soda cans. :) I was practicing to do something more sinister. haha....had an animal injuring my kittens at that time.

      Delete
    4. And maybe I should clarify that this was outside at a distance. ...not inside my kitchen, aiming at the fruit bowl. hahaha....

    5. I was just wondering. :) Hubby uses soda cans too. We bought some soda that no one liked, and he used those.....he shook them up first. That was kind of fun to watch. If you decide to target practice for stress relief be sure to do a blog post on it. :)

  16. I wore the full metal braces from the age of 40 to 43. I had head gear.
One day I was helping at the kids school and this little girl said to me, "you are old AND you have braces."
She knew how to make friends. Ha. I wish I had permanent retainers...I've had some shifting, but then again, a lot of things on my body have shifted. Oh well! You look wonderful AND young.

  19. Your teeth are beautiful.

When my oldest got braces, her dentist told me I should get her teeth coated and so I did. I think it was around $25 for each tooth. I spent a lot of money doing this. And can you believe that girl still has not had a cavity to this day. And those coatings are older than Taylor, so it has been a long time. She was in High School when it was done. She thinks it was the best thing I ever did for her. I also think that it should be required to get all children's teeth coated and I think nothing will help save a person's teeth more. But someone said the dentist's need us to have cavities and problems with our teeth to keep them in business. This would be one of the few things that I would agree with our government requiring. It is not much different than a vaccination except it is for teeth. Have you ever looked into getting the boys teeth coated, at least the ones that are cavity free.

Smile and the whole world smiles with you.

    God bless.
