M Is For Moon

The moon above my home last night, April 13, 2013.

I see the moon.
The moon sees me.
The moon sees somebody I want to see.
So God bless the moon.
God bless me.
And God bless the somebody
I want to see.

A little Jim Brickman for all my lovely blog friends.
I wish I could see you!
Lucky moon. :)

    3. Or just stalk him until he has to say something about it
Bringing him back a little bit

    1. Thanks, Matt! I love photographing the moon...full or crescent! Had to take 10 shots to get this one, though...so easy to make it blurry!

  14. It is a great shot, I can see the nose in the moon and so I can make out the man in the crescent moon. He is harder to see then when there is a full moon. Love the little poem, how could I not with all the God bless's there are in it. Been rainy out here so we see so moon, and the sun barely shines through. Please tell Brian to come back, he sure looks different some how, almost like it is raining there and he can't shine on through.

    God bless.

    1. Well, Brian may be my twin, but I have no control over that guy! haha. My only consolation is that he lives to write. It's in his blood. And he needs an audience...and we are a big, loving and appreciative audience when it comes to him! So maybe after a break he will be back because he misses is and loves it. :)

As for the moon, I wonder what concave spot on the earth makes that nose on the moon. Would be interesting to know! Maybe a large area that is sunk in...something below sea level?

    1. Well, there's no lesson, really...I have a 26x zoom on my camera. I zoom in as close as I can and take the picture. You have to hold your breath and have steady hands! But that's really all I do!
