The moon above my home last night, April 13, 2013.
I see the moon.
The moon sees me.
The moon sees somebody I want to see.
So God bless the moon.
God bless me.
And God bless the somebody
I want to see.
A little Jim Brickman for all my lovely blog friends.
I wish I could see you!
Lucky moon. :)

ReplyDeletecool shot...see you on the flip side sis
miss you already.
DeleteHe took his pic away too
DeleteGeez what are we going to do
maybe cry
Deleteor die. haha.
Hopefully he'll miss us too much
and have to come back, and such.
Or just stalk him until he has to say something about it
DeleteBringing him back a little bit
stalk and gawk
Deletewould surely make him balk.
beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? One of my most very favorite things...
DeleteGreat moon shot
ReplyDeleteAs always at your plot
But on the flip side too
The moon gets to sea all you wish to view
But all of those you don't as well
Bet the moon seeing so many full moons has to be hell
lol...well, you have a point! ha.
DeleteWatch out for The Pink Moon on the 25-April
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me! I hope it isn't a cloudy night!
DeleteThat photo is just incredible Betsy, perfect snapshot, I love the moon generally in photos but this is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Matt! I love photographing the moon...full or crescent! Had to take 10 shots to get this one, though...so easy to make it blurry!
DeleteWe're in M already!?!?! Wow!! Yay for this fab moon pic and the song is so sweet too - awwwwww!!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Yeah, already! But then, it is the 14th of April already! ha. Time flies!
DeleteI have the worst time getting a proper shot...
ReplyDeleteI think I better explore the settings on the new camera some more...
Perhaps there is a setting for that...
You always get great pictures of the moon, Betsy...I didn't even see the moon...too cloudy here last night...
I will be sure to check it out tonight, before I go to bed!!
It is also one of my favorite things..
Especially at the cottage!!!:o)
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I just put my zoom on as close as it will get. The hard part is having hands steady enough! I have to hold my breath! ha.
DeleteWhat a LOVELY moon!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? So pretty! The stars were really bright, too!
DeleteA beautiful moon shot, Betsy!
ReplyDeletethanks, michelle!

It was so lovely last night!
DeleteI know...no picture? Geesh!
love it! my son has a new telescope and I'm looking forward to having him figure it all out so we can look at the summer night sky.
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds like so much fun! We have always talked about getting a telescope but have never followed through. I think it would be fascinating!
DeleteClear skies for your moon picture! Nice!
ReplyDeleteThis alphabet series has been so fun to read.
very clear skies! It was a perfect moon picture taking night! ha.
Deletegorgeous photo of themoon
ReplyDeletehe posed nicely, didn't he? :)
DeleteDear Betsy, I chose the right day to come for a visit - as you know. I love he moon.;) M for moon and Monday, as Monday is named after the moon.;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great "moon day" dear Betsy and a lovely week ahead.;)
xoxo

ah, cute!
DeleteIt is a great shot, I can see the nose in the moon and so I can make out the man in the crescent moon. He is harder to see then when there is a full moon. Love the little poem, how could I not with all the God bless's there are in it. Been rainy out here so we see so moon, and the sun barely shines through. Please tell Brian to come back, he sure looks different some how, almost like it is raining there and he can't shine on through.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Well, Brian may be my twin, but I have no control over that guy! haha. My only consolation is that he lives to write. It's in his blood. And he needs an audience...and we are a big, loving and appreciative audience when it comes to him! So maybe after a break he will be back because he misses is and loves it. :)
DeleteAs for the moon, I wonder what concave spot on the earth makes that nose on the moon. Would be interesting to know! Maybe a large area that is sunk in...something below sea level?
Beautiful moon and lovely video. This reminds me of the song "I'll be looking at the moon,
ReplyDeleteBut I'll be seeing you".
oh yes, that's a good one, too! :)
DeleteWow, what a picture! (and I like the poem)
ReplyDeleteA month of Blog...
thank you! As I like to say, the moon posed very nicely! ha.
DeleteWhat a shot. Love that poem, but couldn't get the video...told me there was error and come back later. I will!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get it to play..it's beautiful and will stick in your head! :)
DeleteOK, Miss Betsy, I almost started crying when the song played. I wish I could see you too. Beautiful moon shot as always.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad I'm not the only one! haha...it's such a beautiful little song but a little melancholy, too! So many sweet people I'd love to see!
DeleteGreat shot of the moon, and I always love Jim Brickman, no matter what he plays/sings.
ReplyDeleteI love him, too...always a wonderful voice and beautiful song. :)
DeleteThe grand-girls and I always end a phone conversation with "I love you to the moon and back". :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot of the moon Betsy. Please tell us your secret to getting a moon shot like that. A lesson maybe? :) xoxo
Well, there's no lesson, really...I have a 26x zoom on my camera. I zoom in as close as I can and take the picture. You have to hold your breath and have steady hands! But that's really all I do!
DeleteTHAT is a great shot.
ReplyDeleteHi Betsy - love this thought .. lucky moon! Cheers Hilary
