Photo taken while out and about today.
Clifton, Ohio
They've lost their heavy wool winter coats!
The shearer must have been making rounds!
They were laying in the green grass, taking
an afternoon siesta.
I guess they're really sheep.
But I need an L! Yeah, they're lambs!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it! haha.
I'm all linked up with the A to Z Challenge!

ReplyDeletePat is at his own mat, answering my comment! ha.
DeletePat is here now
ReplyDeleteWith a little meow
And lamb instead of sheep
With your A to Z peep
Sheep are find by me
Cows on the other hand are really stinky
it was kind of cheating
Deletebut time was fleeting!

ReplyDeleteIt was a grey cold day today...and sometimes without sunshine, it is really fun to take photos. I almost feel like I don't compete with the sunlight! ha. I'll have to keep my eye on this farm and get some photos of real lambs. haha.

ReplyDeleteI've only eaten lamb a few times...it was good but just different enough for me not to choose it as a favorite.

ReplyDeletethanks, matt! they are adorable!
Deletebeautiful photo, cute 'lambs'. I like your header photo too!
ReplyDeletethanks, christine...nice and grey, like I like it! ha. We've had gloomy grey weather most of the week...and cold!
DeleteWell...how cute is that!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Betsy...
At least the grass is green!!!
Love the header...can't get mine to fit!!! What size do you use??
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I make the header 1200 pixels wide...have to resize it or make it from two photos in a collage form without borders. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, the 1200 is the size you need.
DeleteWell, they used to be little lambs and now they are grown up lambs.
ReplyDeleteStill lambs and what a pretty photo!
I like the way you think! lol...
DeleteWhat a peaceful scene! Beautiful and the tree is majestic!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was peaceful, too....very relaxing!
DeleteI have nominated you for a Liebster blog award. Congratulations on this honor! Please visit my blog for all of the details.

Thank you, Lenni! You're very kind. I looked on your blog, but couldn't find that anywhere but I'm honored anyway! :)
DeleteI'm sure that sheep still have that inner lamb dwelling inside them : )
ReplyDeleteThey always remind me of peace. Make me think of the pictures o f Jesus holding the lamb. So comforting.
inner lamb....lol...you crack me up! Yes, very peaceful!
DeleteI just saw some sheep thus morning on my daily run. And some lambs too, so cute they were, looking at me sheepishly ;) as I passed them by, all I wanted was to run over there and pick up those cute babies.;)
ReplyDeleteMy morning jogs are becoming moments of many wondrous encounters.;)
xoxo
Oh, I'll bet there is a little teeny lamb stuck somewhere there in the middle.
