hahahawe have a closet that juts out into along the living room with a flat top...yep...that is the perch...i can see you but can you see me...smiles...
Orlin and Cassie better not tell them that or I'll have broken dishes in no time flat. ha. For now they are happy with the heat that comes from the back of the frig so neat. :)
I've noticed in your photos that your cupboards are bare! I'm going to start calling you Old Mother Hubbard at your lair. Won't say mine can't open the doors since I've seen yours. Maybe just that they haven't tried it yet but it is in their future, I bet. And believe it or not, I do have rules but you know when you're gone they laugh at rules so cruel. lol...
haha yep when the humans are away That cats will play And one side is completely bare Not a dog bone at my lair The other holds all the crap That open the door and flap But can't get in as there is no room Of course if they really wanted to I know they could get in and cause doom
as soon as you go out the door the rules are no more! and they know what time you come home, too and then lay quietly and say innocently, Who? Me? I wouldn't do that I'm an obedient cat!
Brian is my twin. :) Well, not really but we like to think so. We have about 8 million things in common, personal and professional. We even have weird de javue moments where things happen to each of us on the same day. ..so, yeah, kind of like twins!
You know, it's actually Nugget the rabbit that is the fur problem. lol....
Nugget does that...especially when it's the air conditioning. ha. Then there is a vent under the kitchen sink that all the cats like...they pile on the little rug there. A very inconvenient spot for me, though. lol....
When they were young my cats used to jump from the kitchen floor to the counter to the top of the refrigerator (and even sometimes from there to the top of the cabinets). Now that they're getting older, though, they only do it when I put something enticing on top.
They look happy up there! Thanks for the input on keeping up with blogs. I may need to try that. I have a lot of blogs on my list (over 200) but a lot no longer post. Still stewing on it!
yeah, if I go into google reader, I have a few hundred, too! Every one that I've 'followed' is on there, of course. Hope you find something that you like!
they love to have an aerial view, don't they? I wonder if they feel safer or if it's just a curiosity thing where they want to see all that is going on.
It's really rare that all of the cats are here at the same time. And there are some that prefer the outdoors. Some I've still never touched! That wildness just won't give way to domestication. ha. There are 15 in all (2 others disappeared last year) but maybe only 5-6 in the house at once.

DeleteMy little friends vie for the heat vent on the kitchen floor. It's not high, but it's warm.

DeleteThey look so cosy nestled there... you must always feel that eyes are on you wherever you are at home! LOL! xx
ReplyDeleteOh yes...and as soon as the refrigerator is opened, they are miraculously around my ankles. haha.
DeleteI knew someone who put her cats bed on top of the fridge because that's where they always slept anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteoh, that's so funny...but practical. Why fight it? lol....
Deleteaaah! they look really comfortable Betsy, and these eyes, always I think what think these cats? LOL
ReplyDeleteI know...I'd love to know what they are thinking! haha.
DeleteI make the same with the bunnies heeh!! I love imagine what they are thing!
Deleteoh, super cute...cats have such a knack for finding the BEST perches!
ReplyDeletethey're loving the warm spots, that's for sure...in a few months, they'll be finding the cool spots! ha.
DeleteWhat a great place for kitties to roost! All cats seem to love to be up high and look down on their domain. I know mine do.
ReplyDeletethey love to have an aerial view, don't they? I wonder if they feel safer or if it's just a curiosity thing where they want to see all that is going on.
DeleteSo cute -- I love it!
ReplyDeletethey are adorable...and so much fun!
DeleteWe need to see a collage of all the kitties in your house...do some live only outside? I miss my kitty every time I visit here.
