  1. Gosh it looks more like a lynx than a cat! Glad there were no birds bathing in the bird bath. Great shot Betsy.

    1. Isn't that hilarious? He's just a little kitten, too but looks so long stretched out like that. haha. He isn't usually cross-eyed, either..unless he's looking at his tongue. lol....

    Do not look wise
And at least no tongue got stuck
As he licked and made like a stretchy duck
    Know the water thing too
They skip the clean stuff and lick the stuff that is ewww
    Or roll in pee
That will never be gotten over by me hahaha

    1. Today it would be stuck
and he would be a very sad duck
leaving half his tongue on the ice.
      would surely not be nice!
      No, rolling in pee
will not be forgotten by me (either)
and I'll use it to tease
      whenever I please!
      hahaha.
That is something Cassie would never do
which just proves which is the prissy one of the two.

    2. Yeah she is way ocd
Orlin is more of a bull moose at our sea
      Hopefully he will not lick
On a day it will stick
And prissy cassie you will surely sea
Tomorrow as we make that groundhog flee haha

    3. oh, a little teaser from you the host
      about tomorrow's post!
Can't wait to see how you plan to make him scat
even though he isn't a cat!

  9. You always get the best cat pictures!

I thought about his tongue getting stuck too, and I see I wasn't the only one. Our cats drink out of the goldfish bowl. That's pretty yucky too.

    1. well, there are enough around here that there is usually one doing something hilarious! They do keep me entertained, that is for sure. This photo was taken during that warm spell so no worries for a tongue getting stuck on frozen metal. ha.

the goldfish bowl...oh that is so funny!

  13. You should consider to turn your brilliant snapshots of your cats into a book. This cat surely looks VERY relaxed from head to toes! I hope, he (is it a ´he´?) will learn to find easier ways to get a drink!

  15. what a capture Betsy! We have a pool and a lake and of course, fresh bowls of fresh water and the toilet seems to be the preferred drinking source.
