Fresher Fridays

Yep!  MUCH fresher! :)
I did several things like this as I puttered around the house today.
Not only did I dump the old nail brush and scrubbies, I threw out
the old ice cubes (which were weird smelling and shriveled)!
The ceiling fan in the living room is now dust free and
much fresher, too!

It was so much fun, it might become a fun fresh weekly post! ha.

    1. Maybe if you took a look
you'd see a lot of gook
and have to dust it right away
      before your ocd gave way.
      haha.

    2. I enjoy my housework too, Betsy. I don't get out much but I like it that way.

I love it when little effort jobs like you just did make such an improvement in a room.

  9. I have been enjoying some cleaning and organzing and while I was doing just that this evening, I wondered if I could change my header...or if that was messed up too. Lo and behold...it was still the old format, so until I figure it out...my header will become the picture I post about. Where there is a will, there is a way. My new Stand up Mixer came today. Made a batch of cookies... So nice and new!!!

I just threw away old sponges and have new ones, and a new dish drainer (don't have a dishwasher).

  10. It's wonderful what a kick one gets from refreshing things, even in a small way. This New Year has got me feeling like decluttering, so I am going to tackle it in small bits so as not to get overwhelmed and put off.

    1. the declutter bug always hits me in January. It must have something to do with putting away the Christmas things and turning over a new calendar year. Small bits,...me, too! It'll take me months! ha.

  12. You got me thinking ... are we talking real ice cubes ... or those pretty colored ones for dropping into wine that isn't chilled quite enough.

    1. Yes, real ice cubes. After a few months, they shrink and look nasty. I guess we haven't been drinking many icy drinks since the weather turned cold! ha.
