Yep! MUCH fresher! :)
I did several things like this as I puttered around the house today.
Not only did I dump the old nail brush and scrubbies, I threw out
the old ice cubes (which were weird smelling and shriveled)!
The ceiling fan in the living room is now dust free and
much fresher, too!
It was so much fun, it might become a fun fresh weekly post! ha.
♥
Some freshness coming due
ReplyDeleteWorks for the ocd at my zoo
Although I barely clean the ceiling fan
And first first kick at the comment can
Maybe if you took a look
Deleteyou'd see a lot of gook
and have to dust it right away
before your ocd gave way.
haha.
Yeah I prob would
DeleteSo ignore it I should
You really enjoyed your housework? I'm starting to worry about you, doll...
ReplyDeleteyeah, I need to get out more, I know. :)
DeleteI enjoy my housework too, Betsy. I don't get out much but I like it that way.
DeleteI love it when little effort jobs like you just did make such an improvement in a room.
I was cleaning too, but I love your little duckie:)
ReplyDeletehaha...I was just at your blog, trying to eat that dessert off the page! lol....
DeleteThanks ut I love this duckie to clean:)
DeleteI dumped some of my refrigerator contents. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteYes, it does! :)
Deletesometimes the littlest change makes the biggest impact, I find.
ReplyDeletethat is very true! especially if they are little things that you see all the time! ;)
DeleteSome freshening is needed here,
ReplyDeleteGetting it done, would bring me good cheer.
So once again, I tried today,
but just like before, I was called away!
(With a tip of the "Hatt", to Pat!)
Pat will be proud
Deletewith you rhyming aloud
but be careful with such
as it's addictive, much!

ReplyDeleteOh, fun! Does he get homesick? Hope you don't get a call in the night. haha. Hope he has a great time!
DeleteI am on my way to bed...
ReplyDeleteBut I had to read your comment on my blog...
And then comment on yours...
This has been an incredible year for me...
And my family...
And then I read your blog...
Cheers...........Betsy
Linda :o)
You have had a wonderful year! :)
DeleteI have been enjoying some cleaning and organzing and while I was doing just that this evening, I wondered if I could change my header...or if that was messed up too. Lo and behold...it was still the old format, so until I figure it out...my header will become the picture I post about. Where there is a will, there is a way. My new Stand up Mixer came today. Made a batch of cookies... So nice and new!!!
ReplyDeleteI just threw away old sponges and have new ones, and a new dish drainer (don't have a dishwasher).
You're going to love that mixer! I use mine all the time!
DeleteYou should ask blogger for help!
It's wonderful what a kick one gets from refreshing things, even in a small way. This New Year has got me feeling like decluttering, so I am going to tackle it in small bits so as not to get overwhelmed and put off.
ReplyDeletethe declutter bug always hits me in January. It must have something to do with putting away the Christmas things and turning over a new calendar year. Small bits,...me, too! It'll take me months! ha.
DeleteI should have been doing that yesterday, but I snuck off to the yarn store instead!! LOL! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteIf I could knit like you, I'd sneak off to the yarn store, too! ha.
DeleteYou got me thinking ... are we talking real ice cubes ... or those pretty colored ones for dropping into wine that isn't chilled quite enough.
ReplyDeleteYes, real ice cubes. After a few months, they shrink and look nasty. I guess we haven't been drinking many icy drinks since the weather turned cold! ha.
DeleteVery fresh! Little things can make a big difference. Now I am going to check my ice cubes : )
