Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne (days gone by) ?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
Robert Burns, 1788

As we reflect on the best of times and the worst of times
of 2012, I wish all of you a happy start to 2013!
May it be a wonderful year for all of us!
We're having our stay-at-home, quiet, tradition of bringing
in the new year. We'll eat yummy food, flop on the couch,
and watch the ball drop in NYC.
Are you partying tonight or flopping at home?
How ever you celebrate, I hope it's fun!
♥
Happy New Year! We had plans but after spending every day at the hospital this week, we decided to flop at home and it feels good! We did go out for supper, but decided we're really getting old because we were there before 5pm. :)
