The best part about making cut out cookies is
usually the decorating part!
I like making them extra big and thick!
Blue was a nice icy color for a snowflake!
And little pearl candies finished the look!
But this time, the most fun was catching Alex
stealing the cookies! ha.
♥
steal me one alex!!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh those are so addicting! I can eat a whole pan at once! haha.
DeleteBeautiful cookies....adorable thief!! Someday, I'm gonna get with it and made cut out cookies... I've never had good luck with them....but maybe it's the marble rolling pin...HaHa...Now that I have one, I should try...I'm sure I'll be coming for advice when I do. Loving you this morning, and thinking how precious your boys are.
ReplyDeleteI really think the key is to chill the dough, don't roll it out too thin and don't over bake.
DeleteBut maybe it really is the marble rolling pin! hahaha.
he knows what the good stuff is! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never made snowflake cutouts but yours almost convince me that I should. they're so pretty! and maybe that's the only snow we'll have this winter? I hope not!
We sure have had rain! Just think of all the snow we could have had if it was colder! Now that I've run all my errands, I wouldn't mind a foot or two of snow! :)
DeleteYour snowflake cookies are so beautifully decorated; the pale blue is perfect. Also, I love the look on Alex's face.
ReplyDeletethanks, janice! I love the blue, too!
DeleteNow who was the boy who had to give up cheese?
ReplyDeletethat was spencer....and he would never touch one of my cookies....haha. As you can see by alex's chubby face, he loves to eat. I wonder what I could take from him that would slim him down? haha...there isn't a single thing for him...he just loves food. lol....

ReplyDeleteNice looking cookies...makes my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice "taste tester" you have. 8~)
We have snow...should I send some your way?
If I made something so beautiful i would cover them in varnish and hang them on my tree...but then again, look at Alex and how happy you made him! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBig and thick - just the best kind of snowflake!
ReplyDeleteYUM
