  7. I had a flock of these at my house this morning too! There were so many, you couldn't the ground under the bird feeders and they were eating anything and everything!

    1. They cleaned out a full feeder in an hour! Good grief! I told The Mister I hope they move on..I can't afford to feed them all winter at that rate!

  10. I have that many birds or more at my feeders and I would like to know why your wooden feeder is not full of bird poop? I would like to paint mine but I can't get thru the doo.

    1. I don't know! I guess they don't sit above the feeder! ha. They are always in it or below it, so the roof stays clean! But I think I need a second one hanging there so I don't have to fill them so often!

  15. I saw 9. By the way, it's a great photo. It reminds me of one of my childhood friends, Bob. He took a .22 shell and placed it on top of a piece of 2 by 4. He baited the ground immediately in front of it with stale bread crumbs. Then he sat back (as well did I) with a daisy BB gun. When some doves landed, he shot the BB gun, hit the .22 shell, which hot a dove in the neck. Miracle shot that was never repeated albeit tried. lol

    1. Oh my. Good shot! I've hit a lemon and a tin can before with a pellet gun but never a .22 shell. haha.
