I've caught the boys doing little chores without being asked to lately!
Alex always grabs up laundry to put in the hamper.
Actually, he peeks in the bathroom while people are undressing
just to whisk away their clothes to the laundry room! ha ha.
Spencer has been gathering up empty dishes and bringing them
to the kitchen sink! How nice! I guess if you ask them enough
times, they eventually will start doing it on their own!
And Harry, bless his heart, has been taking off his socks when he
gets home from school and putting them....in the bin of clean socks
in his closet! LOL! Ah well, we still have some work to do! :)
♥
Good kids! Love Harry's sock!
ReplyDeletehaha...I know! So funny that he thinks that's where they belong.
Deleteaw how sweet of them! hugs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, don't they?!
ReplyDeleteyes! it's been so fun and makes me smile. But just laugh out loud when I get out three pairs of clean socks for them each morning and find Harry's dirty pair from the day before! lol....
Deletehe's just thinking ahead :) gotta love it!
Deletehaha...typical teenage boy...doesn't mind at all wearing them another day!
DeleteAwwwwww!!! Good for them! Yay! take care
ReplyDeletex
They're getting there! :)
DeleteDoing chores is no fun
ReplyDeleteBut saves you a ton
Even if Alex gives a peep
And Harry makes the clean socks weep haha
haha Alex is going to make someone scream some day
DeleteAnd he'll be thinking, "What? I just want your dirty laundry!"
lol. Maybe I should teach him him
to check the closet sock bin?
Two birds one stone
DeleteThat is if he would leave the cleans socks alone
As my mother always said ... it's the thought that counts :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yes, that is SO true! haha.
Deleteawww, well at least he's making an effort!
ReplyDeleteyes, he is...and I think it's kinda cute, actually!
DeleteBetsy I think they are soo cute specially Harry and are sweet they help you LOL
ReplyDeleteyes it is cute! :)
DeleteAwww...they are helping out!
ReplyDeletethey're trying! :)

ReplyDeletehaha...yeah, it's still something! :)
DeleteWhat helpful guys you have!
ReplyDeleteyes, I do! lol...
DeleteAww, that is great that they are all trying to do their chores. Haha, even Harry has the right idea, well, sorta!
ReplyDeleteyeah, ...still makes me smile. ha.
DeleteFull marks for effort, I guess. Hope your power stays on. Stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteOur power did stay on! We are so thankful! We just got wind and rain and then a little snow.
DeleteSuch sweet boys! I am laughing so hard about Alex. :) Harry is doing the opposite of my boys--I found clean socks--still folded--in the dirty laundry yesterday--sigh.
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet. :) And yes, Alex is a hoot! Not a bone of etiquette in his body. haha. But he means well. lol....
DeleteI've had that happen to me, too! Usually Taylor....who scoops his dirty clothes off the floor to put in the hamper and ends up grabbing a pair of clean socks. ha.
I think it is wonderful that they are being so helpful. Every little bit helps.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are all safe during the stormy weather.
God bless.
Yes, and they mean well...all three of them. They are such sweethearts!
DeleteI never cease to be amazed at your mothering skills, Betsy. Never. blessings ~ tanna

DeleteEvery little bit of progress is reason for celebrating!
ReplyDeleteyes, and they do make me smile!
Delete2 out of 3 ain't bad, right? Love to hear about those sweet boys of yours. I would say they are making some wonderful progress:-)
ReplyDelete"Some work," maybe, but that's still pretty impressive.
