When I started making jewelry to sell on Etsy a few weeks ago
I made a mental note to start looking for a dress form.
I thought it would be a fun way to display my longer
creations and prevent them from getting tangled while
they waited for a new home!
Well, look what was at the auction Thursday!
While I look for a stand for him, he's fitting in nicely on my wicker
file cart beside my desk. Um, do you think I should call
him Mr. T? LOL! Well, maybe not enough gold for that.
♥
yes I remember Mr T Betsy:) I think.this is perfect for your jewelry;)
ReplyDeletelook nice!
Yes, nicer and neater! haha.
Deleteof course :)
DeleteIt's perfect. How lovely they all long hanging around a neck. What a great find, and it looks so neat and new.
ReplyDeleteA Team was a fun and exciting show with Mr. T. He would always say..."I love it when a plan comes together"...I fee the same way.
well, that quote is perfect for this story! It was just fate that I mentioned him! haha.
Deletehaha Mr T. is the way to be
ReplyDeleteBring you to the A Team at your sea
Get a DC Cab as well
Plus he will tell
All to Be Somebody or Be Somebody's Fool
Plus could send you some Rocky drool
Okay I am done
So next time I buy a lotto ticket I'll have won?
I just wished for it
That would surely be a hit hahaha
Making up for last night's miss?
DeleteWhen you didn't name a movie and gave a hiss?

ReplyDeletejust needs a mowhawk, right? LOL!
DeleteI'm wishing for a lady-version of the same. I kinda like Mr. T. ;)
ReplyDeleteSeriously? There was one there! I wanted the man one. I know how had the winning bid, too...he has an antique shop.
Deletewow, that works great!
ReplyDeleteI thought so...and it's more fun than them laying in a drawer.
Deleteyour jewelry looks beautiful, it's a great way to display them for sale!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine!
DeleteYou made all that jewellry!! Wow!!!! I'd call him Mr Bling!! Yay! Take care
ReplyDeletex
I did! It's really fun!
DeleteBe careful what you wish for! In this case, I guess it was a "good wish" though.
ReplyDeletewell, that's true....don't want any bad wishes coming true! hahaha.
DeletePerfect! What a fun way to display your jewelry.
ReplyDeleteI really like how they don't get tangled...and they are kind of on display...even if it is in the kitchen,...haha...but that's where my desk is!
DeleteWell, if you don't name him Mr. T, I suggest Chester.
ReplyDeletehahaha..OH, I laughed out LOUD on that one!
DeleteVery cool! I like old dress forms. Some really old ones can look kind of scary, but this one looks friendly.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked them, too. I'd really like to have a wicker one. I think they look so pretty!
Deleteare you sure it is not a "she" looks feminine to me in the picture.
ReplyDeletegreat find!
haha...yes, those are male pecs....it was more obvious with the lady version there beside him at the auction. lol....
DeleteWhat a perfect find!
ReplyDeleteHow perfect! God knows the desires of our hearts....so tickled for you!
ReplyDeleteI vote you nick name him...Chester.
ReplyDeleteTo feminize it, why not put on it a small sized stuffed under garment,
embellished of course to help with what mother nature did not give him,
and a form fitting top to show how the jewelry might be wonderfully
draped on a female form.
