  9. I love the lacing, they look delicious. Hey, you know, I was going to mention this the other day but never did…you had mentioned in a post someplace that you make baskets, what kind, just curious…I was driving around today and I heard someone talking about handbaskets, whatever that actually is, and I was reminded

    1. I do have a little gift basket business here in my home. But it's more of filling a basket with gifts instead of making the actual basket. If you click on 'gift baskets' in my label cloud you'll see what I mean. I've been doing it for 20 years...it's really been a good experience!

  19. Very pretty, Betsy. Lots of work involved to make that many. My daughter got married in March--I cheated and bought 300 decorated cookies for wedding favors. I'm always impressed with the lovely, creative decorating- I'm on Pinterest and see tons of absolutely the cutest, most detailed decorated cookies--too cute to eat!!! Mickie :)

    2. Yeah, but then again, if I go so far as to reserve that gazebo... I've obviously made up my mind... in the positive. Hell, I'd probably renew my vows for this one someday, if I could just find the right place. Somewhere exotic...

  36. This is the mother of the bride for whom the cookies were made...Betsy, they were fabulous! Thanks so much for all your hard work. I've had lots of compliments on them, too. Had a few left over, so we've frozen some for the bride & groom for later. So glad we went with this idea.
Since these were handed out following the ceremony and not at the reception, we had a few funny comments, like, "So, this is new...are we supposed to crumble them up and throw them at the bride & groom as they depart?"

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, hello there, Ms. Anonymous. :) I'm so glad you were happy with them! :) Crumble them and throw them like rice...now that would have been weird! hahaha. Thanks so much for asking me! And I'm glad you left a comment here...it's always nice to know who is reading! :)
