Quail

Girlfriend Julie and I went shopping today and out to lunch.
We stopped in Goodwill and looked around.
This little ceramic quail jumped into my hand and asked me to take her home.
A pair of Ann Taylor shoes and a Banana Republic shirt did the same thing!
How could I refuse?  :)

  1. You can't refuse things that jump into your hand! That sweet quail would have came with me had I saw it first!!

    Happy Mother's day!

  2. Haha. Funny how that happens.

I think the quail wanted to join the live birds you have in your 'zoo'.

I may have to stop in at a Goodwill store. Looks like you found some bargains.

    1. yes, she has joined my zoo. At least she doesnt eat much. lol.

Things are always jumping in my cart...but it isn't as much fun when it's groceries. I look at them and say, "But look at your outrageous price! Geesh!" hahahaha.....

  9. such a pretty little bird, they were cooking them on Diners Drive inns and Dives last night, so sad, they are such little beauties and hardly enough for a meal.Much better left to live thier little lives, your outing was a success and sounds like fun! Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mothers Day!

  13. Oh, I love that Quail, she would've asked me to take her home as well. My mother collects all sorts of little ceramic things, would be perfect for her. Probably better than the poem I wrote and the $20 in lottery tickets…well, if she wins then perhaps not better, but that remains to be seen..kind of banking on the poem working this year. Love the quail. Thanks
