Mother's Day Treat

I got the bracelet for Christmas, with a few beads on it.
Then with a bead from each of my men on Mother's Day, it's really starting to fill out!
Do any of you have a Pandora Bracelet?  Or Trollbeads?  This one is part Troll and part
Pandora.  It's nice that they are interchangeable.

  1. Betsy, I must tell you that Carl completely surprised me with a Pandora bracelet three years ago on Mother's Day. Since then he has added a few more beads ~ which I treasure! Yours is beautiful .. it's going to take me a long time to fill mine. (as I typed those words, it occurred to me that I might consider adding them a tad faster :-)

    1. Well now, Carl has some good taste in jewelry, doesn't he! What a nice surprise! And yes...there isn't any rule that says you can't buy a few for yourself! :)

  2. I'd offer something interesting or perhaps even witty, if I had something to say about jewelry. I've purchased some as gifts that brought smiles and tears to their face. But I have no idea what pieces have the 'magic' and those that flop. :(

  7. I do have a Pandora bracelet but not many beads/charms. It's such a nice thing to have so loved ones can add to it.

  12. Lucky you! Yes, I am a Pandora person, too; and I started a bracelet for my daughter a few years ago. Mine is pretty much finished...maybe room for one more charm. I love wearing it, as each charm has special meaning for me.

    1. Well, you know, I didn't have anything to do with this one. haha...and the charms and beads weren't picked with a particular meaning like they are supposed to. (I don't think The Mister realizes that's the idea!) So...it's just pretty and not meaningful... in that way, anyway. haha...but I still like it a lot. Maybe the next one I can fill it like that. :)

  15. it's pretty, and even more so that it's an object of sentiment, but talking jewelry, well, as you needed the dictionary for my last piece, I certainly need to go search around etsy or wiki, because for me, Pandora is either A. a box filled with demonic things or B. internet radio and a Troll, is well, either one of those fuzzy haired dolls from yesteryear or a mean creature living under a bridge lol The interchangeability factor is always a nice touch, for anything really. Very pretty bracelet, my favorite beads are the one to the most right, it's a cream color with purple swirl lines or the one kinda central, a deep purple with what looks like a nice coarse texture. Very cool.

    1. haha..I'm so glad to get you back! No hairy creatures or demonic boxes, though. In fact, Trollbeads have been around since the 1970's! Both Troll and Pandora have their own websites. Maybe I've allowed you to stumble upon a new gift idea for the women in your life. :) Working on my 'underground' CT entry...wondering what you'll come up with!

  20. What a lovely bracelet. It would go with just about anything you wore. I hope you were thoroughly blessed.

Sorry I haven't been around. We had mother's day, my bithday, a graduation, a vacation day, and I'm working on another site as well. Swamped is the word. But you were never far from my thoughts when I thought about a list of thingies to get back too.

  22. I guess it is pretty but what does a cat know?
He'd eat them at his show
And that is for sure he would
As he eats anything like that in our hood

  23. I have a long silver chain, with 3 charms my daughter had given me...I cherish this necklace, and the 3 charms...they say..."courage" "love" "peace"...all stirling silver..
When I was in Florida this winter, I purchased a troll bead, and a silver turtle to add to the collection...my brother and sister-in-law gave me a mauve bracelet, with all the trimmings...
I actually wear 7 bracelets daily....all with plenty of memories attached...perhaps a blog on my jewellery is in the works!!! who knows???
    Your bracelet is lovely....very classical...

    Cheers!
    Linda :o)
