Some of us puttered around the house and yard getting things done.
Others napped in the flower beds!
I think it's time I stopped labeling the cat posts as "Stray Kitten Stories", don't you?
From now on we'll just go with their names.
I don't think they're going anywhere!
♥
What a cute picture! I agree - they aren't going anywhere. :)
ReplyDeleteI think we've settled into a nice routine with them. So fun!
DeleteGood idea.
ReplyDeleteLike I keep telling our son and daughter-in-law, who are expecting, I like the name Chris(tine).
Chris would work very well, I would think! :)
DeleteI think you should put together a "Kitty" Calendar for next year. You have so many adorable pictures. 2013 could be the Year of the Cat. Just an idea!! I'm putting my order in now! OK?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Wanda!
Deletehaha...well now, that would be a lot of fun! I'll have to think about it! :)
Deletehaha....cute pic of the kitten peaking out...oo i second the calendar idea...might be a way to make money to feed your zoo...smiles.
ReplyDeleteok...but now I'm holding you to one sale, then! :)
DeleteMy cat is the same way... the more petals and yard scraps she can get stuck to her, the more she likes it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the kitty calendar idea! I like your pics better than most of the ones I see in other cat bookstore calendars, etc.
I think it was nice and cool under those big leaves! ha. And thanks, Mike! I'll have to seriously consider that! :)

DeleteHiding in the bush
ReplyDeleteWith just Oreo's eyes and not tush
And yeah stray no longer applies
To say so would be lies
As you have them with you indeed
Forever at your feed

Glad you're having fun

ReplyDeleteIt does sound lovely, doesn't it? But I haven't gotten there yet! ha.
DeleteCute! Peeping cat! I love your header BTW...
ReplyDeletethanks, madge...and it's so nice to see you here!
DeleteCat...no I don't see a cat. Very clever hiding : ) Our cats think you can't see them if there face is covered up.
ReplyDeletehaha...we've had a couple of them inside act like that....with their head under a piece of furniture and their butts and tails hanging out! haha.
Deletewhat a magnificent photo!
ReplyDeletewell, thank you Dez. And wow...I get honored with a visit today? haha. :)
DeleteA most excellent capture! LOOK at those eyes...wow.
ReplyDeleteI've heard it said that we don't own/have cats, they own/have us. Is this true?
very, very true! :)
DeleteGreat photo and nice position! Did you catch sight of the cat amid the leaves or did you have to persuade him/her to wait there for a moment? Our cat never lets me take a decent photo of him as he either runs away from me or on the contrary runs forward to me :-)
ReplyDeleteI walked by with my camera, intending to photograph the strawberries nearby and her head popped out like that. She had been sleeping under those violet plants. :)
DeleteSo true...I think they're home to stay.
ReplyDeleteI hope so...I do enjoy them so much!
DeleteMade me smile! I'll show this photo to the kids in the morning; they'll love it!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she sweet? :)
DeleteHi Betsy .. great photo - she sure is keeping an eye on you and your puttering ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletePS I enjoyed the next post - the pork look just delicious .. still had my salad for lunch - got to wait a while now!
