J is for Jungle Cat

Ever get the feeling someone is watching you?  I kept hearing a rustling sound in the room!
Thinking I was home alone, I was intrigued...especially when this plant started moving!!

Seems Charcoal wants that outdoor feeling even while being indoors!

I've joined the A to Z Challenge for the month of April!
Come back tomorrow for the letter K!

  5. Very cute. i am a sucker for animal pics, especially cats and dogs. Looks to me as if Charcoal's been reading too many of Orlin's adventures, now he want's a jungle expedition of his own. :)

    1. haha...oh, he'd have fun on an expedition like that...with his 8 siblings! lol. (I had 2 litters adopt me and they live on my back porch!)

  6. LOL that is just what Orlin would do
Hide there thinking no one had a clue
    As your sat in view
Until he decides he wanted to attack you
    Or you were being rude
    And just wanted food
    Cassie would just eat it
    The nitwit
But Charcoal has it down pat
Just lounging inside while still being an outside cat

    1. yeah, he was pretty cute
      laying there taking a snooze
      and when he was done
      outside he did run!

Wish he'd let me pet him though
I ran my hand down his back
and he about had a heart attack.
      hahaha.

      Delete
    2. LOL that is why he hides so much
Does not want you to touch
Maybe he has ocd and doesn't like the germs you give off
Not knowing they too make you scoff..haha

      Delete
    3. haha I'm just trying to trick him for later
so I can lure him into a carrier.
Saturday is the big snip snip
but let's just let him think I'm hip.
Did get him to run in to it
several times today for a nip
      of turkey. Aren't I mean
to trick them with meat so lean?
      haha

      Delete
    4. LOL hey whatever works at your sea
To get them to go snip snip so no more kitties run free
Not sure if either here would fall for that
As they are too used to going to that other mat
      Good luck catching them all
As Marmy will prob lead them all away from your hall..haha

      Delete
    5. No, yours are too familiar
      with those carriers
but mine don't know what they are
right now they're neat treat holders, they are!
      lol.

      Delete
    6. LOL not for long
Soon they will sing a different song
      Remember the snip snip
And they won't think they are very hip

      Delete
    7. yes, but once the trick has been done
they can hate the carriers a ton
      won't bother me a bit
as my goal has been met

And I hope I can outsmart Marmy
if he wins again I'll be angry!
      lol.

  7. The only time my cat ever crawled into a planter was to use it like a litter box! :) Hope that's not the case here.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. mustache is the one that does that here. what's up with that..outside cats look for earth, I suppose. although the others knew what the litter was first time!

      Delete
  8. OK, that made me laugh out loud. One of my cats went missing and not being an outside cat I searched my then very small home for her. I was at a total loss. I gave up and sat down and looked over and there she was in the Christmas tree, about halfway up staring out at me.

  9. Is that the same fern that has been in your living room?
It's huge. Did you check to see if there were more kitties hiding in there?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, this is a different plant! haha...and I think a few more could fit in there for a nap! But he had it all to himself!

      Delete
  10. haha my cat loves to hide under the couch and in the bushes and jump out and scare you....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. haha...our rabbit does that...he thinks it's great fun to scare you when you walk around a corner or get in a closet! It's hilarious! And he does it to his pal Whiskers, too! So cute.

      Delete
    2. Nugget & Whiskers are freinds?
      Now that is cute.

      Delete
    3. yes...it's so fun to watch them...he runs down the halls and she chases after him and he hides and pops out at her. I need to try to get it on video.

  11. oh my gosh thats so cute! It reminds me of our rubber tree plant when i was a child but the cat didn't sleep in it, let just say it didn't survive, the plant I mean!!!

    1. oh dear...haha...yes, those leaves and stems aren't very forgiving and snap so easily!

  12. This is so funny...our cat used to do that too, only in our Christmas tree. Every year we used fishing line to secure it to the woodwork so it wouldn't fall. I miss having a cat sometimes!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. our cats took our Christmas tree down to the floor more than once! lol. Yes, you learn to tie them securely!

    1. yes, he was! I think he was pretending he was king of the jungle. haha.

hey..no package yet? What, did that mail guy take it for himself? Check out his toenails...if he has little pink flower decals on them, pin him to the wall and demand that package back! lol.

  14. I sent you an e-mail thanking you and tell you how much I loved it!!! I got it last Thursday. I hope I sent the e-mail to the right person. I'll have to double check.

Anyways, thank you so much and I love the package!!! The hand cream has it's own special home on my night stand. I can't wait to try an do my own french pedicure :)

    1. haha...oh, that's funny...like a stampede! We've let a couple of them stay in at night at so far they've been relatively quiet. Whiskers likes to sleep with us...but I think she sleeps better than we do. lol.

  24. This is why I don't have any more big ferns in the house. My old kitty not only hides in them, but uses them for scratching and chewing and... other things as well, and they don't tend to last long!

  25. A creative post for 'j' - I love the way cats hide and jump out just for fun. Ours used to love hiding under newspaper.
