Ever get the feeling someone is watching you? I kept hearing a rustling sound in the room!
Thinking I was home alone, I was intrigued...especially when this plant started moving!!
Seems Charcoal wants that outdoor feeling even while being indoors!
I've joined the A to Z Challenge for the month of April!
Come back tomorrow for the letter K!
♥
Wow! I'm first!
ReplyDeleteUh, that wasn't a real comment, was it?
ReplyDeleteHey, I've been without internet at home for weeks, so that was a big deal for me!!!
Liked your post, btw! Haha!
sometimes it's the simple things in life that can be the most thrilling. lol. :)
DeleteAH Betsy always think cats are like tigers, like they move and all, yeah, look like in jungle!
ReplyDeleteyeah, and he thought he was so clever spying on me! ha.
DeleteYeah but I think the cats are realy clever dear!
Deleteyes they are! and so entertaining!
DeleteHaha sneaky little cat :)
ReplyDeleteyes, he thought he was being SO clever! ha.
Deletelol This is so cute and funny. Makes me miss my cats!
ReplyDeletewish you lived close...I'd give you 3, 4 or 7. haha.
DeleteI bet I know what "K" is going to be.
ReplyDeletemaybe. :)
DeleteVery cute. i am a sucker for animal pics, especially cats and dogs. Looks to me as if Charcoal's been reading too many of Orlin's adventures, now he want's a jungle expedition of his own. :)
ReplyDeletehaha...oh, he'd have fun on an expedition like that...with his 8 siblings! lol. (I had 2 litters adopt me and they live on my back porch!)
DeleteLOL that is just what Orlin would do
ReplyDeleteHide there thinking no one had a clue
As your sat in view
Until he decides he wanted to attack you
Or you were being rude
And just wanted food
Cassie would just eat it
The nitwit
But Charcoal has it down pat
Just lounging inside while still being an outside cat
yeah, he was pretty cute
Deletelaying there taking a snooze
and when he was done
outside he did run!
Wish he'd let me pet him though
I ran my hand down his back
and he about had a heart attack.
hahaha.
LOL that is why he hides so much
DeleteDoes not want you to touch
Maybe he has ocd and doesn't like the germs you give off
Not knowing they too make you scoff..haha
haha I'm just trying to trick him for later
Deleteso I can lure him into a carrier.
Saturday is the big snip snip
but let's just let him think I'm hip.
Did get him to run in to it
several times today for a nip
of turkey. Aren't I mean
to trick them with meat so lean?
haha
LOL hey whatever works at your sea
DeleteTo get them to go snip snip so no more kitties run free
Not sure if either here would fall for that
As they are too used to going to that other mat
Good luck catching them all
As Marmy will prob lead them all away from your hall..haha
No, yours are too familiar
Deletewith those carriers
but mine don't know what they are
right now they're neat treat holders, they are!
lol.
LOL not for long
DeleteSoon they will sing a different song
Remember the snip snip
And they won't think they are very hip
yes, but once the trick has been done
Deletethey can hate the carriers a ton
won't bother me a bit
as my goal has been met
And I hope I can outsmart Marmy
if he wins again I'll be angry!
lol.
The only time my cat ever crawled into a planter was to use it like a litter box! :) Hope that's not the case here.
ReplyDeletemustache is the one that does that here. what's up with that..outside cats look for earth, I suppose. although the others knew what the litter was first time!
DeleteOK, that made me laugh out loud. One of my cats went missing and not being an outside cat I searched my then very small home for her. I was at a total loss. I gave up and sat down and looked over and there she was in the Christmas tree, about halfway up staring out at me.
ReplyDeleteoh, that is a funny story! haha...
DeleteIs that the same fern that has been in your living room?
ReplyDeleteIt's huge. Did you check to see if there were more kitties hiding in there?
No, this is a different plant! haha...and I think a few more could fit in there for a nap! But he had it all to himself!
Deletehaha my cat loves to hide under the couch and in the bushes and jump out and scare you....
ReplyDeletehaha...our rabbit does that...he thinks it's great fun to scare you when you walk around a corner or get in a closet! It's hilarious! And he does it to his pal Whiskers, too! So cute.
DeleteNugget & Whiskers are freinds?
DeleteNow that is cute.
yes...it's so fun to watch them...he runs down the halls and she chases after him and he hides and pops out at her. I need to try to get it on video.
DeleteOh do try!
Deleteoh my gosh thats so cute! It reminds me of our rubber tree plant when i was a child but the cat didn't sleep in it, let just say it didn't survive, the plant I mean!!!
ReplyDeleteoh dear...haha...yes, those leaves and stems aren't very forgiving and snap so easily!
DeleteThis is so funny...our cat used to do that too, only in our Christmas tree. Every year we used fishing line to secure it to the woodwork so it wouldn't fall. I miss having a cat sometimes!
ReplyDeleteour cats took our Christmas tree down to the floor more than once! lol. Yes, you learn to tie them securely!
DeleteOh how adorable!!! He was staring you down... ;)
ReplyDeleteyes, he was! I think he was pretending he was king of the jungle. haha.
Deletehey..no package yet? What, did that mail guy take it for himself? Check out his toenails...if he has little pink flower decals on them, pin him to the wall and demand that package back! lol.
I sent you an e-mail thanking you and tell you how much I loved it!!! I got it last Thursday. I hope I sent the e-mail to the right person. I'll have to double check.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, thank you so much and I love the package!!! The hand cream has it's own special home on my night stand. I can't wait to try an do my own french pedicure :)
I did not get it...but I got your other emails. hmmm. I checked spam, too. Well, I'm glad it got there safe and sound! yippee!
DeleteTurns out I accidentally sent your e-mail to my g/f Liz. She never even answered me back. Hmph!
DeleteI apologize!!! I meant to let you know that it arrived safe and sound.
LOL! She probably thought, "Oh that Jax, what on earth is she going on about?! Crazy girl!" hahaha.
DeleteThis is why I love kittens. They are so much fun!
ReplyDeletethey are SO entertaining! Never a dull moment. :) Right now I have 3 in here and they are mesmerized by the parakeets. ha.
DeleteWe once had a herd of seven thundering through our living room in the dark of night.
ReplyDeletehaha...oh, that's funny...like a stampede! We've let a couple of them stay in at night at so far they've been relatively quiet. Whiskers likes to sleep with us...but I think she sleeps better than we do. lol.
DeleteAw, what a cutie!
ReplyDeleteyes, he is...and thanks for visiting!
DeleteLovely photograph. You make the month go by in the most delightful way Betsy.
ReplyDeletewell, you always leave the most delightful comments, Alan. :)
DeleteAWwwwww peek-a-boo lovely Charcoal! Take care
ReplyDeletex
he is lovely...I love the color of grey he is!
DeleteLOL! Stealth mode Charcoal is going "operational". Too cute!
ReplyDeleteexactly! lol.
DeleteAdorable =)
ReplyDelete:) and thanks for visiting, JDC!
DeleteYikes! I thought for a minute that Silver had "planted" a robotic camera in your fern. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, not really......but it sounded funny. Sneaky kitty. :)
haha...oh, I'm glad that wasn't the case! lol.
Delete"Jungle Kitty " was my nickname for my favorote cat of all time. She died 2 yrs ago Dec. I may reprise a trbite post to her. She was grey w/ white markings too.
ReplyDeleteaw, what a cute kitty she must have been! You should do a little post. I'd love to see a photo.
DeleteThe antics of kitties! LOVE THEM! SO CUTE! We have a new one here at The Glen and he is entertaining us HUGELY! LOVE his little body! Charcoal is adorable.
ReplyDeleteSaw Marmalade yesterday!
aw...where did you get your new little one? There is a new litter in the neighborhood! Mama comes to eat and is no longer pregnant. She hasn't brought the babies this way...yet. haha.
DeleteThere is a new annoying tom, too...looks like Marmy but long hair! Ugh.
Aw, Charcoal you're so pretty. Clever kitty.
ReplyDeleteTeresa
thanks, Teresa...and I'm happy you stopped by!
DeleteThis is why I don't have any more big ferns in the house. My old kitty not only hides in them, but uses them for scratching and chewing and... other things as well, and they don't tend to last long!
ReplyDeleteso far no eating on this one! lol.
DeleteA creative post for 'j' - I love the way cats hide and jump out just for fun. Ours used to love hiding under newspaper.
ReplyDeletewe had one years ago that would pounce on newspaper when you tried to read it! lol.
DeleteI love the pic! She has her own personal jungle. I think this is my favorite "J" post. Glad I was hopping on the A-Z train and discovered your blog!
ReplyDeletewell, I'm glad you stopped by! :)
DeleteFun! What a sweet picture of Charcoal. Yes, the jungle cat part of her personality is definitely on display.
ReplyDeleteI love how sneaky they can be! :)
DeleteHow funny!!!
ReplyDeletehe sure surprised me!
DeleteHow's the hubs? How's the nurse? :)
LOL @ Charcoal !
ReplyDeleteYou have a "house cat" for sure.
Take care,
Nancy
P.S. Its been a busy week at my house...
oldest daughter(30) is here visiting with her 3 kiddos.8~)
busy, yes...but sounds really fun, too! :)
DeleteOh that is so funny.... I was looking like crazy for the cat in the first picture, and then boom...I jumped as I saw Charcoal in the second.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever "J".
haha...I jumped when I found him for real! haha.
DeleteI have one of those Jungle cats. But he actually eats the plant LOL.I bought a huge fake one and he tries eating it too LOL.
