Relax And Let Them File Your Taxes

I was thinking the orange ski mask kinda detracted from the costume.
Then I noticed that Mr. Liberty has his crown on upside down.
I thought it made him look like some kind of fish. lol.
Hopefully this company of tax accountants and consultants are better
 with numbers than mascots. ha.
But he was friendly and we waved to each other after I snapped his photo! :)

    1. Oh, I'm sure! This guy wasn't at a stop light, though. He was on the sidewalk outside their office!

    2. The outfits they give them vary from branch to branch. Some really look good, with full face masks of the Statue of Liberty. (It helps that those also hide your identity!)

    3. Are their crowns right-side-up? :)

  6. All the ones I've seen, yes. You'd think someone in the office would have told that guy his was screwed up!

  7. The guy at our local one has fun doing tricks with his sign. He does some spins, and flips with it that keeps you entertain while waiting for the light to change.

  8. we have that same tax service with the same friendly waving Statue of Liberty too.
But it has not been cold enough here for anyone to need a bankrobber mask :)

I did our simple taxes on line, I think I used Taxact.com

    1. No, I don't suppose you'd have a Liberty guy.
Maybe a Mountie or a Moose by and by.
      Moose Tax Constultants.
haha Sorry, I couldn't help it.
      :)

Not a single cat was caught.
I almost cried a very lot.
They didn't come around last night
and didn't want breakfast either. None in sight..
      except the ones already neutered...
I swear Marmy knows English and to all alerted.
Sigh. Made the appointment again for April
Probably have 10 more by then. Oh well.

    2. You did taxes for all of them?
Now look who's sweet. You're such a gem.
Do they count all the cats as dependents?
let me know if that works and I'll attempt it!
      lol....

  13. haha a moose guy would be fun to see
But not sure they is any walking about dressed in crap spreading tax glee
Marmy sure is very self aware
    There at your lair
He doesn't want to end up like the rest
And still put the humpty hump to the test..haha
    Geez with ten more
You'll really beat the other shore

    1. Crap missed reply
      On that try
LOL nope the cats don't count
      For any amount
      Although they should
Get tons of money back we could
Yeah I hate doing the stupid stuff
But it only comes once a year with it's huff and puff

    2. I thought I would have Marmy for sure this time
He's come in and laid on this desk of mine
      just like Whiskers does
but then ran off just because
      he some how knew
and protected his lil' siblings, too!
      ha.

      Yep, dependents they should be
that would fill The Mister with glee
when he files our taxes here
that would surely give a cheer.
      ha.

    3. They know when something is up and out of place
      And off they race
Not wanting to end up like the other ones
Who got snipped down around their buns
      A nice big brother too
      Keeping them out of view..haha
      Yeah that would be great
      Sadly not our fate
Because then they'd lose more money
And whine about it not being funny

    4. Well, I have a whole month, you see
      to think of another strategy.
      Already have an idea,
      and put it into place,
      so we shall see...ha.

    5. Let's just hope Marmy doesn't follow in his fathers footsteps at your sea
And diddle around with two or three..haha

      Delete
    6. Oh, it's a little too late for that.
Already seen him on two of his little half sisters. Oh strat.
Think one might be in the motherly way
too early to tell at my bay.
I might be imaginging that though
just expecting the worst, you know.
I told him to stop but he wouldn't quit.
Like he would listen to me having a fit.
      lol.

      Delete
    7. LOL wow that would make three that could send some new kitties your way
Marmy is sure helping to the count at your bay
      Even if imagining it though
I'm sure he's doing it alot at your show
      When you aren't looking too
      So many could come due
Instead of a dalmation plantation in the back
You'll have a kitty plantation at your shack..haha

      Delete
    8. yep. and now you know my dismay
at not catching any cats today.
      could actually hyperventilate
when I look at them all out by the gate.
      lol.

      Delete
    9. hahaha I can relate
Just seeing 12 here wait at their dinner plate
      Quite the sight
Makes me glad two are all I have around me to bite..haha

      Delete
    10. yes, I remember a photo of that
but it was 14 then at that mat
Now that two have passed on
I think I need to send some along.
      Up to Nova Scotia land
now that would be just grand.
I could sent the dad up your way
      Your turn to hyperventilate.

      Delete
    11. haha wouldn't make me hyperventilate
Unless I went to visit that other gate
      Then it might
So you can keep him at your site
Of course you can't catch him anyway
So I don't think I have to worry about him up here on display

  15. Too funny!

The city our closest Liberty Tax office is in passed a regulation that doesn't allow dancing on the sidewalk, which is sad. I liked honking and waving to the Statue last year.

    1. Well, you know what? I didn't know it was a franchise until ya'll started talkin about the ones new you! lol. I guess they are everywhere and require each store to have a mascot. lol. Since it's such a big deal you would think they would try to make them look a little more professional!

  22. Ha, how funny. You occasionally see a guy with an advertising board in the cities here but not usually in costume. I'd never have guessed the Statue of Liberty... You've made my day with this!

  24. Funny to see everyone's response to this guy. We have them here in Fairbanks as well, I always thought that they jumped around and acted crazy because they were freezing in the 40 below temperatures! Sounds like it is a job requirement though. I always feel bad for them in the winter. What a terrible job, I hope they are paid well.

  25. I figure the tax companies would hire these 'advertisers' if it wasn't working for them. But, can you imagine having this beginning to a professional company handling tax forms!! Thank goodness for my husband and TurboTax. I am truly grateful.
