Sunlight has been shining through the front door window and creating these cheery patches on walls, on the floor and on furniture. This one was as big as my foot!
Whiskers noticed it, too, and rolled in it. ha.
It's almost like the door is full of rainbow makers,
just like in the movie Pollyanna. :)
We had an incredibly lazy day today.
I didn't even putter! ha.
I overslept with the time change, did you?
♥
Purrrrrty! Haha.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I wasn't lurking at all! I just brought up my Blogger dashboard, and it said you'd posted a mere minute earlier!
DeleteOh really? You know I have ways of checking to see if you're being truthful. :)
DeleteYep. Go right ahead. :)
Deletei love Pollyana betsy and love rainbow!!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! :)
DeleteShe was the eternal optimist, wasn't she?
yes she was so much!
DeleteI want a lamp with the prisms hanging on it like in the movie! Sometimes I see them at the auctions but they go for too much money! ha.
Deletewhat nice would be a lamp with rsonbow!
Deleteyeah, maybe some day someone will leave one in the trash for me to find after the auction! ha.
Deletebetsy i have an idea how he know always when you post but i not say ha!
ReplyDeleteYou do? :)

ReplyDeleteyou're being a tease....but you are smart and probably have figured it out! :)
Deletehow was your day?
ReplyDeleteit was very nice...relaxing for once! ha.
DeleteHi Gloria! I miss you! How are you doing?
DeleteHi Rebecca I just come back to the computer when you can mail me:) Hope you are OK dear, xx
DeleteNow if only a pot of gold
ReplyDeleteWould come and take hold
Then you would be all set
Isn't whiskers being a playful pet
She likes rainbows
And eating crows
That is quite the pair of things
As she chases down things with wings
I suppose if I found a pot of gold
Deleteyou'd ask me to share, being so bold. ha.
Whiskers is quite the pet.
It's nice to have a girl around, you can bet.
She's laying here beside me. You should see how
she's sucking up the heat from the laptop vent now.
hahaha well if it was a big pot of gold
DeleteYour generosity would just take hold
Sucking up the heat
While she has a seat
She knows she has it good at your sea
And there is no need to go outside and climb a tree
well that is very true.
DeleteI'd love to send a new bush 3 to you
one that didn't have a monthy rent
and getting locked outside wouldn't made you bent.
Actually, Whiskerss did run outside for a while
but wants back in to be pampered in style.
ha.
haha that would be quite the bush
DeleteFit for the cat's royal tush..haha
Marmy prob scared her back in
As he tried to commit a sin..haha
Nothing like a rainbow to make a lazy Sunday cheerful. No, I didn't sleep in, but I wanted to. :) I got up and made coffee instead. :)
ReplyDeleteHow are you? I bet you needed the coffee, too! :)
DeleteI'm doing good! The past week has been a whirlwind of dr. appointments, and case worker visits tho. Ready for some normal. ;) I always need coffee. :)
DeleteIs it warm there? We had 62 degrees and sun. It really felt like spring. Is everyone well now?
DeleteIt got up to 67 degrees. Felt wonderful! I was the last one to get sick, and I still have a little cough, but otherwise everyone is healthy.
Deletewow...you had it warmer than we did! So glad everyone is on the mend. I guess the bugs had to get you eventually! Maybe this week you can all get back to normal and have a regular blissfully uneventful week. ha.
DeleteI hope so!
DeleteWe've missed you being around! Do you think you and your one little girl can paint your toenails and join my party? That would be so fun!
DeleteBoth of you are great moms!
DeletePlates full and still smiles on your faces.
you, too, dear Christine! :)
DeleteI love how light makes those rainbows or prisms lights or whatever they are. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI didn't oversleep, heavy rain woke me up. but I don't like the time change, wish the powers would just leave it alone.
I agree...I wish we wouldn't have it!
DeleteIt was an incredibly gorgeous day! (Thanks for sending that nice weather!!!) I took both a walk and a nap, but didn't oversleep this morning. However, I did arrive at church just a few minutes late with breakfast in hand. Do you think it's okay to eat breakfast in Sunday school?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely think it's find to eat during Sunday School! In fact, ours serves it! ha. A walk and a nap sound wonderful. I should have done that. I did, however, sit on the couch like a couch potatoe,...something which I never do.
Deletenice..sunny here all day...got a little sun tan on the face too...
ReplyDeletealready starting on your tan...nice! :) I would have gotten freckles! ha.
DeleteI think the cats have been reading your blog and knew to stay away.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a relaxing day.
haha...well, in that case, I need to find their laptop and take it away! lol. I can laugh now, but I was very frustrated yesterday!
DeleteToday was better! :)
I did not oversleep. I actually woke up very early for an appointment that I didn't even go to. lol
ReplyDeleteYour little rainbows are very pretty! I wonder what it's reflecting off of to do that. Hmmm
Well, good for you! At least you had more of the day to enjoy! ha. The rainbows are coming from the leaded glass in the door...like little prisms. :) It's a new door...that's why it's such a big deal. haha.
DeleteI think it's too cute that the cat rolled in the rainbow. We should all take a lesson. :)
ReplyDeleteyes we should...although I would have gotten some strange looks here! lol...
Deletei did oversleep, as a matter of fact. so i raced on the freeway to my sister's house for breakfast and my nephew wasn't back from his sleepover yet because he overslept:)
ReplyDeletekids always sleep late after a sleep over! :) Hope it was a wonderful day. Breakfast with family sounds great!
DeleteThe miracle of day-light and colour. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it was...almost as good as one in the sky!
DeleteWho can resist a rainbow?
ReplyDeleteI know! :) So fun.
DeleteI relaxed too!! Nice
ReplyDeleteHugs
SueAnn

DeleteWow - what a great rainbow light reflection! We've not yet had a time change here in the UK but the sun is out, the temps are up and it's a glorious Monday! yay! Take care
ReplyDeletex
we have rain today after the wonderful sun...enjoy!
DeleteNature truly is wonderful and to have the sun and glass provide you with such beauty is really great. I am betting that when you have some beautiful spring rainy days that you will see some spectacular rainbows.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we will get lucky and get more rain this year.
Hope you have another relaxed day.
God bless.
we don't get a lot of rainbows here, but when the sun breaks out after a rain shower, I always look! :)
DeleteDear Betsy have a nice day!
ReplyDeletethanks, gloria. hope your day has been nice, too. :)
DeleteLovely rainbow, Betsy. I'm with you...I overslept! The time change always makes me feel a little "off" for a day or two.
ReplyDeleteOh, me too! I couldn't fall asleep last night! But the one in the fall is worse, I think!
Deleteif my 11-year-old nephew hadn't overslept, that would have been the story:) you are right. that's what he does, and me:) they may be defining actions, but only on daylight savings time is it a communal activity.
ReplyDelete11 yrs old...love that age. Hope you had a fun time. Weekend breakfasts are the best!
DeleteHow very cool to be blessed with a home full of rainbows. Have a great week, Connie
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to enjoy them when the show through the afternoon sun! Not today though...it's raining! :)
