Rainbow Makers

Sunlight has been shining through the front door window and creating these cheery patches on walls, on the floor and on furniture.  This one was as big as my foot!
Whiskers noticed it, too, and rolled in it. ha.

It's almost like the door is full of rainbow makers,
just like in the movie Pollyanna. :)

We had an incredibly lazy day today.
I didn't even putter! ha.
I overslept with the time change, did you?

  6. Now if only a pot of gold
    Would come and take hold
Then you would be all set
Isn't whiskers being a playful pet
    She likes rainbows
    And eating crows
That is quite the pair of things
As she chases down things with wings

    1. I suppose if I found a pot of gold
you'd ask me to share, being so bold. ha.

      Whiskers is quite the pet.
It's nice to have a girl around, you can bet.
She's laying here beside me. You should see how
she's sucking up the heat from the laptop vent now.

    2. hahaha well if it was a big pot of gold
Your generosity would just take hold

      Sucking up the heat
      While she has a seat
She knows she has it good at your sea
And there is no need to go outside and climb a tree

    3. well that is very true.
I'd love to send a new bush 3 to you
one that didn't have a monthy rent
and getting locked outside wouldn't made you bent.

Actually, Whiskerss did run outside for a while
but wants back in to be pampered in style.
      ha.

I didn't oversleep, heavy rain woke me up. but I don't like the time change, wish the powers would just leave it alone.

  9. It was an incredibly gorgeous day! (Thanks for sending that nice weather!!!) I took both a walk and a nap, but didn't oversleep this morning. However, I did arrive at church just a few minutes late with breakfast in hand. Do you think it's okay to eat breakfast in Sunday school?

    1. I absolutely think it's find to eat during Sunday School! In fact, ours serves it! ha. A walk and a nap sound wonderful. I should have done that. I did, however, sit on the couch like a couch potatoe,...something which I never do.

    1. Well, good for you! At least you had more of the day to enjoy! ha. The rainbows are coming from the leaded glass in the door...like little prisms. :) It's a new door...that's why it's such a big deal. haha.

  18. Nature truly is wonderful and to have the sun and glass provide you with such beauty is really great. I am betting that when you have some beautiful spring rainy days that you will see some spectacular rainbows.

Maybe we will get lucky and get more rain this year.

Hope you have another relaxed day.

    God bless.
