Yes Im really a winter girl I told you:) the hot kill me, and the pool was warm!!! horrible, when is so hot happens, I learned toi swim in the sea so I love cold water:)
They do look like little ornaments. I did not know you could eat crab apples, I thought you got sick if you ate them. Still in the 80's here and hope it cools down to the 70's pretty soon. Snow sounds very nice.
Look at you getting all wise And without any pies True advice to live by though Except with the crummy snow You can still keep that in Ohio With your kitties lined all in a row..haha
but that song can REALLY get stuck in your head. We'd ALL be singing it tomorrow. And I'm running errands tomorrow. That would really be weird. hahaha...I'd do a double take at any silver haired men with goatees. lol....
Pat I'm loving the snow so will leave it here below the border up there and keep it down here. Have four-wheel drive so I'll stay alive It's the other crazy drivers I must watch to keep them from sliding splish splosh. ha.
Three cats came in to play and warm up a bit today. Was fun, too at my zoo.
Yeah those other drivers are the pain Stupid idiots can't stay in their own lane You have kitties coming in and out all the time these days Sure the parakeets wish they'd go to different bays
This is a great shot. You should watermard you photo's. They're so good, someone will swipe them. I think you live in Ohio. (I hope I'm right about that}. I'm married to an American and his family is from Milton Ohio. And I did my undergraduate work at Muskingum College in New Concord Ohio. I have so many great memories of that State. If I was to live Stateside permanently, it would be in Ohio.
Anne ~wow, thank you. Gee, I never thought of watermarking them. Maybe you're right. :) And I'm so glad you've been to Ohio. It is a lovely state. I love the full change of seasons we get...hot summers to cold, snowy winters and gorgeous falls. But then, you knew that. :)
Ohio has the most diverse eco-system in the States and that's why I went to college there. The climate is almost exactly like Ireland and so is the terrain. Your state also did a marvelous job of protecting the Bald Eagle. You guys were instrumental in getting it off the endangered species list. Viva la Ohio!
Even the simplest things look better with ice or water on them.
ReplyDeleteNow there's a good attitude to the start of the year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! They look like little Christmas ornaments.
ReplyDeleteSilver ~ yep...or snow! Our neighborhood is beautiful right now with it's new winter coat on. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteTrying to make the best of it. :)
ReplyDelete(Smiling helps...)
Gotta love the look of anything beautiful wearing a new coat!
ReplyDeleteMaddy ~ isn't that the truth? How have you been? Haven't seen you in ages!
ReplyDeleteLook absolutely nice betsy:)
ReplyDeleteand is true of course that you say never always is perfect:)
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ yes, that is true..nothing is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHey, two Marthas~ :)
Rebecca ~ I've made crab apple jelly before but this year just left them for the birds. :)
Thanks, Mari ~ nice to be able to sit inside and snap the photos! ha.
Is the life betsy:)
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ yes, so true. Freezing here today. I thought of you..probably hot and swimming. :)
ReplyDeletehorrible Hot betsy, and was a hrd day believe me:(
ReplyDeleteI prefer freeze (lol)
ReplyDeleteSorry it was a hard day! :(
ReplyDeleteI like to be cold better than hot, too! Not much you can do if you're hot. If you're cold, you can drink coffee, put on a sweater, take a hot bath...
In a few months I'll be hot and you'll be cold! lol...
Yes Im really a winter girl I told you:) the hot kill me, and the pool was warm!!! horrible, when is so hot happens, I learned toi swim in the sea so I love cold water:)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I think my mom used to make crab apple jelly, but I don't remember what it tasted like.
ReplyDeleteGloria, sorry you had a rough day, I'll try to blow a cool breeze your way from up here. :)
Thanks Rebecca some days are hard and all we know dears:)
ReplyDeleteThey do look like little ornaments. I did not know you could eat crab apples, I thought you got sick if you ate them. Still in the 80's here and hope it cools down to the 70's pretty soon. Snow sounds very nice.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
We had temps in the teens today. brrrr.
ReplyDeleteSilver ~ how did you know I got a new coat!? It's those darn cameras, isn't it! Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ my crabapple jelly was very mild tasting..fruity, but hard to describe.
Paparazzi after you again Betsy? :)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet I'd shock the heck out of you if I sat here and actually described it, now wouldn't I?
ReplyDelete@Rebecca: She means the hidden cameras I installed.
ReplyDeleteSilver, tsk,tsk,tsk!
ReplyDeleteHe thinks I can't recognize him in those shades. lol...
ReplyDeleteHmmm, he looks pretty recognizable to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not hiding from anyone. Maybe someday you'll spot me when you're running errands!
ReplyDeleteShould I cue the music for
ReplyDelete"I'll Be Watching You"
or would that just be too creepy? :)
Rebecca ~
ReplyDeleteyou mean, as in
"every move you make..."
lol....
Hey, I just had an idea! Betsy you could do an "I spotted Silver" post. Kind of like an Elvis sighting. :)
ReplyDeleteYou two are sick, haha!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's the one. I know it's a kind of creepy song, but I like it--the song I mean--not the idea of someone with hidden cameras. :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, should I tell Rebecca about Elvid?
ReplyDeleteLook at you getting all wise
ReplyDeleteAnd without any pies
True advice to live by though
Except with the crummy snow

ReplyDeleteI just had a mental picture of you swinging your purse at a sweet little old man with a goatee. hahaha
ReplyDeleteAlright, I'm curious, WHO is Elvid?

ReplyDeleteGloria ~ well, it's either that or he's hacked into my computer. ha. He just likes to tease. :)
ReplyDeleteand who is Elvid? Is David?
ReplyDeleteI know betsy:)
ReplyDeleteHe probably bribes your kitties to tell him all the inside stories. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's the full story on Elvid: http://silverfoxlair.blogspot.com/2010/08/elvid-sic-has-left-building-another.html
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I think Silver fell asleep, and forgot to tell me.
ReplyDeleteYeah those other drivers are the pain
ReplyDeleteStupid idiots can't stay in their own lane
You have kitties coming in and out all the time these days
Sure the parakeets wish they'd go to different bays
Ah Silver We want you tell the history:)
