Follow The Leader

I watched this scenario unfold while sitting at my desk yesterday.
Have to admit, it was quite amusing!
Mr. Jay didn't seem to feel threatened and kept
his perch throughout the whole escapade.
Can you see him? He's in the top right corner of each picture.

  1. Worried...for the bird? for the kittens? Ha...so, why are you over there on your blog denying that you're sweet? I'm telling all of your readers to come over here and witness this. lol....

  2. For the bird. He was outnumbered. He needed a cedar waxing to come flying in wearing a Zorro cape!

There's that "sweet" crap again. Now you sound like LadyCat. Did you see her comment on my blog?

  3. No, didn't see that. But I thought it was started in the post before. :)

  8. Wow! If a cedar waxwing (with a Zorro cape) shows up in your yard please take pictures I'd love to see that. :)

  10. I think every species should have one representative wearing a Zorro cape! Cedar waxwings, bears...

  11. I think my dog "thinks" she is wearing a Zorro cape when she tears around the house destroying invisible enemies. :)

  12. Does she "Leap from tall couches with a single bound?" :)

  13. Comic Book Geek says: That would be Superman, not Zorro, haha!

  14. haha...true...I stand corrected. But he did wear a cape! :)

  15. And nobody ever stole Superman's cape. Poo Zorro hasn't always fared so well.

  16. Betsy I think cats have the natural instinct to hunt, when I had some time canaries were all attacked by cats, it's probably natural to them as a lion or a tiger are made for hunting, and birds are so helpless, you know:)

  17. Poor Zorro? Is he feeling bad about that?

  18. Last time I saw him he was wearing no cape, but wearing a huge grin.

  24. aren't they cute, lookin for their dinner!

  25. hahaha if only Tiger was around to show them how it was done
He'd have that Bluejay and off he'd run
So funny how they each played follow the leader
The Bluejay sure wasn't going to be a kitty feeder
Bet it was just taunting them a bit
Letting them take their hunting fit

  42. Mmm ~ Everyone has beauty all a round them...you just have to learn how to notice it. Don't you have mountains right out your window? Yes...look past the cars in the parking lot. I know you do! ha.
