art2cee2 ~ have you ever eaten so much of something that you couldn't stand the taste ever again? I did that with chocolate raspberry coffee. Ugh. I used to love it but took in way too much of it several years ago and still can't drink it. Too bad, cause it was really good! ha. Did that once with popcorn and didn't eat it for about 10 years. Thankfully, that aversion is over! :)
Wow your tongue is still numb Maybe chew some gum Get the thing moving around Then the feeling could be found So it just jumped in your cart And the two of you could not part Sounds like a commercial idea right there Then you can say it brought the feeling back from your toes to your hair Give a big smile and hold up the bottle to the screen And state how it will make one lean Then say it's only such and such a price Acting all nice Numb Tongues Commercial Adventures Could be a profitable venture See wasn't that fun Ok now I'm done
It is so annoying when such delights jump into your shopping trolley isn't it. You just have to consume them once you get them home - waste is such a wasteful thing after all.
Alan ~ shopping trolley...oh, how I love those British words. I wonder about the looks I get next time I call it that. :) Yes, we can't possibly turn items down when they insist on coming home with us!
Oh I'm so envious! I LOVE coffee creamers and haven't tried this one yet, but will definitely be on the lookout for it. Do hope that tongue of yours gets to feeling normal again soon. The flavored coffee is probably really good 'medicine' and will help wash it all down huh? =)
You gotta watch who you take home. The next one might be something red hot. lol
Melinda loves peanut butter coffee or drinks like that and I never seem to be there when she makes it. The stuff is expensive and I won't buy it unless I taste it. I am afraid it would go to waste.
This opens up a whole new world - do we have flavoured creamers here in UK? Not sure. I'm hooked on a vanilla latte that comes in sachets, but I don't know if you can buy jars. I must get searching!
I saw that one yesterday as I put my regular huge bottle of creme brulee in the buggy.....I get so hooked on a flavor and have a hard time trying a new one.... Enjoy!
It looks good, Betsy, but I have to stick with my French Vanilla! Coffee is tasting more and more like dessert and I am practically eating it!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
My favorite candy bar! Nothing could taste better in my coffee! Can't wait to grocery shop.
ReplyDeleteBlondie ~ that's the idea though, right? :)
ReplyDeleteThat is some good stuff! I know from plenty of experience....lol.
ReplyDeleteOh Betsy...did they have "Mounds" That was my favorite of all candy bars.
ReplyDeleteWill have to try this soon!
OH MY Betsy! I have NOT seen this one! I am on my way over!
ReplyDeleteDidn't see Mounds, Wanda...but you will love this.
ReplyDeleteAlmond Joy is one of my favorite candy bars...but I usually don't buy flavored creamers. I might have to make an exception for this one.
ReplyDeleteI really do love the French Vanilla but if I see that one, I just might have to give it a whirl.
ReplyDeleteI am still loving real maple syrup in my coffee too. It's yummy!
Ooh, Martha, I have never tried that! I bet it is really yummy!
ReplyDeleteMuch better this time! I love these creamers I have chocolate rasberry in my fridge. :-)

ReplyDeleteOh yum...I hope it jumps into my cart too!
ReplyDelete"Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't..."
ReplyDeleteI like the French Vanilla, but I've never even seen the Almond Joy.
ReplyDeleteLove "growing new yard lakes" on your sidebar, btw.
This is going on my grocery list for sure! My favorite candy bar ever.
ReplyDeleteoh i think you are in much better hands this time betsy...but i take mine black....
ReplyDeleteBrian ~ you should try some...maybe you'd be sweeter! ha.
ReplyDeleteTake it from your sister
even if she is a teaser!

Could be a profitable venture
See wasn't that fun
Ok now I'm done
Pat
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds like fun!
I used to do that in the mirror when I was young.
Acting like I was on a commercial
Saying something was nice and useful.
Hi! Betsy...
ReplyDeleteI'am still worried about numb tongue, but the Almond Joy coffee creme in your coffee looks quite tasty!
...Enjoy!
DeeDee ;-D
Mmmm this does look quite delicious but my beverage of choice at the moment is a nice hot Chai Latte ... nice spicy, cinnamony flavour!

ReplyDeleteOh, dear me, Betsy... I'm glad you're treating yourself today instead of poisoning yourself! Here's hoping the feeling in your tongue returns.
ReplyDeletejenny ~ for your sake, I hope you find them! :)
ReplyDeleteoooh - great....stuff. I like mine with plain old skim milk!
ReplyDeleteMy wife loves Almond Joys! How long is the list of ingredients?
ReplyDeleteI saw that one yesterday as I put my regular huge bottle of creme brulee in the buggy.....I get so hooked on a flavor and have a hard time trying a new one....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Now that is what I am talking about. That would make coffee drinking go to a higher plain than ever. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha - I gasped when I saw the picture! Mmmmm This looks dangerous! ha ha
