Honeybells

We were given a fun gift from The Harry & David Co. for
Christmas. It's their Fruit of the Month Club for a year!
Yesterday a box of Honeybells arrived. I'd never heard of them!
They are known for their sweetness and juiciness and even came
with their own plastic bibs to wear while you eat them!
They were like lobster bibs! LOL!
They are shaped like pears and peel like oranges!
They taste like a very sweet tangerine.
And they are very bright and cheerful in this
winter wonderland we are living in presently!
Yum!

We were gifted with a Fruit of the Month membership for six months last year, but it ended in October.

  7. Fruit of the month sounds such fun. I've never heard of these. Your photo is a perfect still life with the blue, white and orange - you should offer it to the Honeybell Marketing Board.

  19. I haven't heard of them either. I think it's funny that you got bibs with them! That juicy, huh?

I'm so glad you didn't lose your power. I'm curious how the auction went on such an icy day.

  20. Kayren ~ haha..they really are very juicy but we didn't put the bibs on! :)

The auction went fine. Attendance was down although about 100 people still came out for it. Crazy! ha.

We didn't get all the snow you did...just a few inches on top of all the ice. How does that snowblower work? Were your men fighting over who got to drive it?
