  7. Very funny, Mr. Toast! I think we all know that Betsy could do an acrostic for "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" if she set her mind to it!

  8. True, SilverFox. she is the queen, isn't she? I suspected it was far too easy for her--just four words.

  9. I tried! I couldn't do it! You guys give it a try! LOL!

  12. Great blues...but my favorite is Big Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra...When Don and I were dating...he bought me a 45 record of Frank singing "The Nearness of You"...I wore that little record out...."It's not the pale moon that excites me......"

Thanks ~ I still get a thrill from that song.

  13. Kayren is right, these blues are so soothing and comforting. Lovely. Did you take these photos or find them on the internet? (well, I guess the one of Frank you didn't take). Happy Theme Thursday.

  19. Lovely pictures. I could never quite understand why blue had taken on the meaning of unhappy, I find it such a comforting colour.

  20. Sweet . . I too love blue. My home is decorated in blue and white with a dash of yellow in the living room. Mmmm blueberries. One of the joys of a cold climate, they cost a fortune here!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Silver Fox ~ you've left us all speechless...that is THE most amazing acrostic I've ever seen! You win the prize...I don't know what the prize IS, but you win it! :)

  27. Dodie ~ and the challenge was only for an acrostic of BLUE...not supercala... I think he's showing off a bit. ;)

  28. Those are some very beautiful examples of blue in the pictures. My hubby has blue eyes and they are pretty, our oldest daughter has his eyes too.

Blueberry cobbler sounds so good to me right about now and I have a bag of frozen blueberries in the freezer. I just need to get going and make it. But then blueberry muffins sound just as good and so I cannot decide. I think I will just have to settle for looking at the gorgeous blue butterfly.

Thank you for sharing. Happy TT.

    God bless.

  29. Betsy: I enjoyed your blues - they were stimulating. Old Blue Eyes has what we call West Virginia Blue Eyes. My dad and brother had them.

Silver Fox: I don't know how to spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
    but your acrostic is impressive.

  46. Martha ~ 'blue in the face'? haha...well, now that you mention it. I have tried to reason with people at times until blue in the face. Not that it did any good, though. If you're talking about holding your breath until that happens, no haven't done that. But I've seen kids do it! ha.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I do love a blue that is on it's way to periwinkle! -J

  51. Roy...it's great...yes, you better duck and run! ha!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jeffscape ~ I'm usually tempted NOT to do an acrostic just 'cause it bothers you! LOL! And not a bad one, either for being exhausted...even though it has nothing to DO with the color blue...a-hem! ;)

  53. Beautiful photos. I love the barn and the blue sky and green hills. But I also loved all the other photos equally. You are amazing!
