Great blues...but my favorite is Big Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra...When Don and I were dating...he bought me a 45 record of Frank singing "The Nearness of You"...I wore that little record out...."It's not the pale moon that excites me......"
Kayren is right, these blues are so soothing and comforting. Lovely. Did you take these photos or find them on the internet? (well, I guess the one of Frank you didn't take). Happy Theme Thursday.
I love a challenge! (This won't be impeccably written, but hey, it's almost midnight here!) Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Sweet . . I too love blue. My home is decorated in blue and white with a dash of yellow in the living room. Mmmm blueberries. One of the joys of a cold climate, they cost a fortune here!
Silver Fox ~ you've left us all speechless...that is THE most amazing acrostic I've ever seen! You win the prize...I don't know what the prize IS, but you win it! :)
Those are some very beautiful examples of blue in the pictures. My hubby has blue eyes and they are pretty, our oldest daughter has his eyes too.
Blueberry cobbler sounds so good to me right about now and I have a bag of frozen blueberries in the freezer. I just need to get going and make it. But then blueberry muffins sound just as good and so I cannot decide. I think I will just have to settle for looking at the gorgeous blue butterfly.
Martha ~ 'blue in the face'? haha...well, now that you mention it. I have tried to reason with people at times until blue in the face. Not that it did any good, though. If you're talking about holding your breath until that happens, no haven't done that. But I've seen kids do it! ha.
Jeffscape ~ I'm usually tempted NOT to do an acrostic just 'cause it bothers you! LOL! And not a bad one, either for being exhausted...even though it has nothing to DO with the color blue...a-hem! ;)
Ahhh...my favorite color...so soothing. Love all the pictures!
ReplyDeleteha you picked some marvelous blues...that flower really pops...and wish i had a few of those blue berries...happy tt betsy!

ReplyDeleteVery funny, Mr. Toast! I think we all know that Betsy could do an acrostic for "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" if she set her mind to it!
ReplyDeleteTrue, SilverFox. she is the queen, isn't she? I suspected it was far too easy for her--just four words.
ReplyDeleteI tried! I couldn't do it! You guys give it a try! LOL!
ReplyDeleteUhhhh, can I get back to you on that one, doll?
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos!! They are all wonderful shades of blue. Great job on the theme. :)
