silly....and that I see faces as I unload groceries ...and
that I play with my food. This week was no exception
as this funny strawberry came out of the package.
He's not been retouched except for adding his
chocolate chip eyes. And he's hollow!
Is he a fish, parrot or maybe a Pacman?
Whatever he was, he sure tasted good! :)
That is so funny! Good eye!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm....strawberries!
ReplyDeleteDid you eat him WITH the chocolate chips, or without?
Kathy ~ 'with', of course! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to show this to my six year old. He loves strawberries...but he hates chocolate (weird kid:)!
ReplyDeleteWell, I bet he was good if you popped him in your mouth eyes intact!
ReplyDeleteYOU are so funny Betsy!
hahah, hes hollow too? funnier,Glad it tasted good.
ReplyDeletemt mom told me to never play with my food...but i will take one! smiles.
ReplyDeleteBrian ~ haha...ok...I'll play and you eat it. :)
ReplyDeleteHilarious post, Betsy! Now I'll be taking a closer look at my food (looking for faces)
ReplyDeleteYou ate him????????????????? Well they say fish is good for you!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable, Betsy. I wonder if your mother was always saying, "Betsy, stop playing with your food." :)
Betsy, if you keep this up you may have enough photos for one of those "playing with my food" books. Actually, these funny food photos would make a great kids book...who loves playing with food more than kids (and Betsy) do?
ReplyDeleteHi Betsy!
ReplyDeleteIt takes a really creative person to see the possibilities that reside within simple items such as a strawberry. Good job!
Cute fish...love the chocolate eyes!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the title of your post, I thought it was about the candy, "Swedish" Fish". They are the red gummy candy fish.
Thanks fro the sweet chuckle....my kids would love if I made their strawberries look like that. I do sort of see a Pac man too.
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny! Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving his quirky green "fins"!
ReplyDeleteOoo! Chocolate and strawberry! I love him!
ReplyDeletehaha! Yes, I love it! My little girl would be ALL OVER that.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you guys are laughing with me. My family just rolls their eyes! ha.
ReplyDeleteThat gives me an idea. If the face happened naturally, why not man made? You could start making faces out of your food. Not sure why, but just for fun.
ReplyDeleteMatty ~ I bet those professional food artists do it all the time!
ReplyDeletegood to see you today at Farmhouse, my sweet friend...and then I come here and what a laugh i get...too funny....
ReplyDeleteand Yep, save that recipe for the next Ham Adventure..it is good.....
have a wonderful weekend...
sending love,

ReplyDeleteI love strawberries and I love chocolate... We bought some fresh strawberries last week --and have sliced them on our cereal this week. YUM....
I'm jealous though... i didn't get any fish strawberries.... Darn!
Hugs,
Betsy
I like it. What you see is really what you have. Fish!!!!
ReplyDeleteFinally! Something on your blog that I can eat! Well, IF I poke the little sucker's eyes out, first.
ReplyDeleteKeep 'em coming Betsy, these a great! Love your silly mind!!
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
He's quite a character. Or...maybe I should say he WAS quite a character since you have admitted to eating him. Poor little strawberry thingy. :)
ReplyDeleteThe second picture did make me think of Pacman. You make me smile!
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox ~ I'll sprinkle a little splenda on it for you! :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be "sweet" of you. (Pun and private joke both intended!)
ReplyDeletehaha..cute...AND sweet. :)
