We are looking for restaurant suggestions near Anna Maria Island next week. Do you have any favorites from your trip that you would suggest? Welcome home!
We had these growing in one of the beds in the yard of our previous home. They were so pretty! I always loved how they folded up their little blooms each night.
Now Kroger is on my list....ha The shamrock I bought a year ago on St. Patty's wasn't happy in my kitchen window....I was about to give up on it, so I sat in the utility room window for the time being....Well it loves it there...growing so pretty!
Nanny ~ they are a little sensitive. I had one on my desk once and it did awful. I finallly figured out that the ceiling fan was too much breeze for it.
Well I'll be....never seen such a plant. I want one. Got a nice sunny window for one :) And welcome back, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteaahhh...that would make me cheery too....

ReplyDeleteCheery quite appropriate! What a beautiful shade of purple...
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of one either. My mom would LOVE it since she loves purple so much.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we have to talk soon. I think we might have another person in common...
I love spring purple. The pictures from your trip were great. Ahhh...the beach :)
ReplyDeletePretty! I like the shades of purple in the leaves...so unique.

ReplyDeleteI had one of each color, the purple and the green. They are so fun and love kitchen windows. Pretty little blooms all over the place.
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't. i try to avoid shamrocks--they bring me bad luck...especially those purple ones I should imagine.
ReplyDeleteThat's a new one for me Betsy. I'll be keeping a look out for it on my travels.
ReplyDeleteLD ~ they are fun, aren't they? I like the way they seem to have a personality the way they close up their leaves at night to sleep :)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Hum, Kroger, eh? Heading over to ours today so will have to look for one.

ReplyDeleteAnd what a pretty pot, too. I'm partial to pink these days!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one either and it IS wonderful! You have a keen eye when it comes to noticing little things.
ReplyDeleteChristian ~ the planter is an old biscuit barrel...I thought the color was perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteI just came inside from searching for a four leave clover...alas I didn't find one...maybe I need a purple shamrock.
ReplyDeleteMy old purple shamrock faded away last month after years of healthy life. They are such lovely plants! Long life to yours as well!
ReplyDeleteBTW, Betsy, being purely tongue in cheek there. I didn't even know there were such things as purple shamrocks. Wow. how lovely this one looks.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Talking to plants, I've heard of, but plants talking to you? Okayyyyy... ;-)
ReplyDeletewhat could be more charming..purple is so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteMmmm that is beautiful. I have a thing for shamrocks too. Being a redhead and born in March...it's kind of in my blood.
