Sepia Saturday = Spencer's Tooth

This is one of my favorite pictures. It's my
Spencer in 2003, bringing me a tooth that
he had just lost. It's special, first of all, because
it's so sweet. And also since Spencer
has autism, it really was uncommon for him
to communicate something like this.
Come to think of it, Spencer was quite fascinated
with teeth during his grade school years!
Here he is checking out the teeth of
his brother, Taylor. Around that same time,
I was spring cleaning and found .....
a secret tooth collection in the back of his closet!

  2. How cute! I hope the tooth fairy made a visit. One of our granddaughters just lost her first tooth last week. They had just moved into their new house, but the tooth fairy still found her : )

  6. My son's teeth kept falling out in the supermarket~like clockwork. We'd have to ask for a tissue. They got to know us after awhile. Very strange...

Did you know that even our pets have milk teeth and loose them - I used to find very few small ones left behind by Batcat when he was a kitten.;)

  22. Kids are so wonderful. When my youngest son went to college, I decided to clean out from under his bed. He would grab crepe paper that was colorful, wad it into his pocket and then stow it under his bed with other wonderful things. Things he found fascinating. Great blog.

  28. Oopsy, Betsy! Sorry, somehow I forgot to swing by here last night. I made it to Willow's, but I missed yours.

What a stash! I bet you had a laugh over that. My dad used to tie our teeth to a door handle with dental floss and *pop*! Thar she'd blow!
