Christmas Cactus

So, my desk was needing a little
Christmas cheer!
This will do just fine! :)

    Oh my goodness. This takes me back aways. I used to have a Christmas Cactus. It did real well, but I can't remember what I did to make it grow. Yours is so beautiful. Good luch with it!

  9. I love the pink shade of the blooms and the plant stand is perfect for this lovely creation. The name Christmas Cactus make me think of the contrast between the thought of a cactus as a desert plant and Christmas with all the snow. Great image!

  10. I have Christmas cactus plants in our master bathroom (the mother plant), the kitchen, and one that summered outside and is in for the winter (which I meant to Freecycle but never got around to).

    I don't do anything, other than water them when they start to look wrinkled and I realized I've been neglecting my duties :-) I think they bloom better the older they are. The bathroom plant has a bloom at the end of almost every "stem"; once it starts blooming it will keep going for more than a month.

    I have one from last year...and JUST noticed it has ONE little bud about to bloom on it. I just love it!
