Theme Thursday = History

antique time piece, googleimages.com
"Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That's why we call it the 'present'."
~~Eleanor Roosevelt

"You must live in the present,
launch yourself on every wave,
find your eternity in each moment.
Fools stand on their island opportunities and
look toward another land. There is no other land,
there is no other life but this."
~ Henry David Thoreau

  1. "How I see today"... what my priorities are, what my words are and how I live...I hope they make a good impression on my children and even the next generation. I hope they have good memories of them years from now!

  15. In reality, all we have is today.

I'm curious. Does your side bar change each day and if so, does it happen automatically or do you have to change each item individually?

  16. Martha ~ are you talking about the countdown? I have to add the pics manually. Although there are automatic countdowns out there that I've seen.
