Hello Betsy! Gretchen and I are looking forward to joining y'all for dinner this evening! She's very shy, and hardly speaks any English, so I'll attempt to translate...
ReplyDeleteJody ~ yes, you must join in...it's sure to be a fun time!
ReplyDeleteSkip ~ I'm looking forward to seeing you again...and meeting Gretchen!
ReplyDeleteHi Betsy, love the outfit, ... your gift baskets are beautiful. See you at the Tea!

I can't wait to see what you'll be wearing for dinner this evening! 'See' you then...
And the baskets look wonderful...You are in great demand this time of year...Rightly so:-)
I think your virtual trip (and outfit) sounds absolutely lovely:;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the gift baskets.;)
xo
Is there room at the party for an old grumpy git like me?
ReplyDeleteI think I shall go as your escort, if thats OK?
I think "Mountain Standard Time" is -7 hours GMT, so I'll be there at 23:00hrs England time (Hope that's right, I would hate to be late or too early!)
What a fun post!! I too do gift baskets for the folks at my husbands job at the hospital. They put in long hard hours during these six weeks and they deserve to be thought of. What a wonderful way to recognize someone with your baskets.
ReplyDeleteLove the sweater!!
Hugs
Tammy

ReplyDeleteBetsy, this is absolutely brilliant! I love it, and the outfit, adorable.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't wait for one of your gifts. How lovely they look. I'll have to save those goodies for my new year's eve celebrations perhaps.
Well, I best be off to catch the end of that dinner with you, Rebecca, Skip and Gretchen, Bach and the Lady, Willow, and whoever else cares to join the fun. I am running a tad bit late though as the gooseberry keeps boiling over! Well, maybe a night cap then, at least!
Mr. Toast ~ better keep an eye on that gooseberry! Maybe turn the flame down a bit. I'll look forward to having a taste of that for sure!
ReplyDeletewhoa... gift baskets, home business, yummy stuff... How did I not know this. Where? When? How? Need details.
ReplyDeleteOkay I admit I could already know this and have totally lost it, I am turning into my mother you know...
You and Willow always on the move. hehe
ReplyDeleteOtin ~ hey...come to the tea...bring RxBambi...we'll have a great time!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, we're awaiting your arrival for dinner, my dear...
ReplyDeleteYou will look lovely and have a wonderful time!! Love those baskets, too!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, I missed the most marvelous dinner conversation from what I can gather. How funny. The flash cards for Gretchen had me cracking up. Well, you can read about my ordeal over on Rebecca's blog. I tell you what I would have made Don Knotts proud! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteWe can always count on your creative skills to come up with those gorgeous baskets. And your attire is marvelous daaaling. Fits you like a "Tea"....
The snow is beautiful in Aspen at Christmas time. Mr. Toast is way too busy... he missed the dinner party...well, I must say we are all drumming up for the big day tomorrow. Isn't that Gretchen and Skip a scream?! See you there!
The Bach
Hoo-Hah! I mean, nice outfit.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that the perky Tara King and I won't be able to attend Mr. Toast's Tea. The Skipster and the lovely Gretchen will nevertheless be suitable emissaries from Simpson/Lynch Studios.
Skip ~ dinner was wonderful...sorry I was a tad late...my horse and carriage didn't travel as fast as your jet! ha!
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox ~ why thank you....so sorry you won't be able to attend! Sounds like you and Mr. Skip have patched things up....or not? Is that why you are avoiding Aspen? ha!
ReplyDeleteAm I avoiding Skip? Oh, no, nothing like that. I just have a lot to do today in the real world, and must make do with reading other blogs and their attendant comments.
ReplyDeleteHi Betsy . . .nice post and I love the sweater dress! You're very clever putting together Christmas bundles. I haven't bought a thing yet and have resolved to shop till I drop on Saturday. Get ready for an angry post on Saturday night! I wish I had time for lovely crafty gifts.
