I petted the ones at T. J. Maxx for $59.
And I snatched up the ones at Big Lots for $15!
They were so fine, I bought
a white one for the living room and an expresso brown
one for the family room! Yay!
Two beautiful reasons to be a couch potato this winter!
Faux mink feels just like Nugget. :)
My, it's just gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteI'm off to the Big Lots in town tomorrow, and see if they have any left over....
I see you've started your shopping ;)
Awww...like cozying up to Nugget! How funny. Nugget really is a very good pet but I suspect you can;t just lie back and squoosh him! Another good find by you! You are so savvy! Love it.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me while I snuggle in!
ReplyDeleteSo cosy.;) Yes, I would just lie around in the sofa with these around me as well.;)
ReplyDeletexo
What a great price! I'm going to Big Lots and see what they have.
ReplyDeletewhat a bargain AND a beauty !! enjoy the snuggle time
ReplyDeletevery pretty, and looks soooooooo warm!
ReplyDeleteI bought my green throw on sale at $30 and it's smaller than the ones you got!
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering through Big Lots yesterday thinking about how much I love that store. Thanks to you, I'll have to go back today for a few "cozy throws" -- we've been wanting/needing a new one in the living room for a while.
ReplyDeleteNow I need to go to Big Lots. I want several (if they have any left) for Christmas presents!
ReplyDeleteYou are my kind of gal!
ReplyDeleteJanelle ~ these would make great Christmas gifts! I hope your store has them! :)
ReplyDeletethats all the excuse i need...maybe we can convince the boys to let me stay on the couch...nah, too much fun to be had...lol.
ReplyDeleteNever mind the throw, I just love that cushion with the fluer-de-lys on it.
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of king-sized mink throws (not real) that Hubby got in Korea in the late 90's on a month-long trip. He had to literally s.t.u.f.f them back into his suitcases to get them back. And they are h.e.a.v.y! Very soft and warm though!
ReplyDeleteLooks very nice and I am sure it will be warm. I'm trying to train Amy the dog to lie on top of me and then I can save $15
ReplyDeletewow... what a buy! Good for you, Betsy. I'll take the pillow too.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The Bach
Great find! We don't have a Big Lots here any longer but I could always find something in there when we did...Love the burgundy pillow, btw:-)....
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I'll have to run to Big Lots to see if find them here in my town! Thanks for sharing... Dee Dee
ReplyDeleteHappy Turkey Day to you and your family from me and Patty.
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Abe ~ enjoy the day with your family!
ReplyDeleteStopped by to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving if I'm not able to visit before Thursday! A bounty of blessings for you and your family Betsy.
ReplyDeleteLove Big Lots. I have been thinking this week how much I need one of those, "wipe off", couches that your boys have in their computer room.
ReplyDeleteThose look as yummy as sweet potato pie...which I will be making tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHave fun snuggling by the fire.
I am really wishing Big Lots wasn't an hour away.
Nugget is adorable! I didn't know you in march so I don't think I've seen him. We have 2 loud dogs, I think I could use a pet that didn't bark for a change.
ReplyDeleteLove the throws, I can't believe you found them at Big Lots. All the BL around here closed... and I never saw anything that good in them anyway. Now I'm totally bummed...
RxBambi ~ Nugget's silence was the weirdest thing to get used to! We've always had cats meowing and purring. Nugget doesn't make a sound!
ReplyDeleteIt does not take a throw to make me a couch potato! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving!! You get the poem next time, Willow got it this time!:)
So beautiful! When I drive into the parking lot at Big Lots they announce over the loudspeaker, "Lynne has just driven in. Please take all the good stuff and put it in the back." And then there is a mad scramble and all the good stuff goes, "Poof!" Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteGotta love BIG LOTS!!
ReplyDeleteLynne ~ oh shoot...sorry your Big Lots was a bust. You would think they would all be alike. :(
ReplyDeleteHello, I too bought one from Big Lots.. so cozy...no room should be without one!!!
ReplyDeleteMcGillicutty ~ hey, good for you! They are a great buy, huh!
ReplyDeleteWhen you decorate for winter, think about adding a feeling of comfort and warmth to your room. Get some warm, fur throws or quilts for your couch and armchairs so that you don't find yourself having to really boost the thermostat for those winter evenings.
