  2. I'm not in to pumpkin pie much but pecan? Mmm... I really love Razzleberry pie this time of year (raspberry and blackberry--it looks so festive.) Then I do like chocolate-, banana-, or coconut-cream pies too. Well, then there is lemon meringue when home made. And, of course, let not forget....

I can just imagine how good your kitchen will smell. Just think , you are going to smell like a pie yourself by days' end!! LOL.

  8. You are baking up a storm Betsy! I bet your home smells delicious right now.

Let's see, favorite pie? Apple, Black Raspberry, Blackberry, Peach, Lemon Chess, Peanut Butter, Chocolate......most any pie is a friend of mine LOL! If we are talking about a pie that is served at a restaurant or bakery, the Apple Barn's Apple Cranberry Pie. Yum-o! That pie is so good that Rick and I finish it off in 1-2 days :)

  14. Dear Betsy,
Thinking about you today and visualizing all of that effort in the kitchen! I love pecan pie, though it doesn't love me if I eat too much of it. I have pumpkin chiffon pies in our fridge and I am making a pumpkin dump cake too.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your precious family!

  17. Pumpkin pie for breakfast is a personal favorite of mine. I'll bake a pie after work tomorrow and another in the morning. One pumpkin and one pecan. I also like lemon pie. I've never made one of those though.

  27. I've never made a pecan pie... is it difficult?
I have to tell you tho that I make an a-w-e-s-o-m-e pumpkin cheesecake. Really. I'm not making it this year tho cuz it's ashley's birthday and we already have pumpkin pie, apple pie, and birthday cake. But I'll probably make it for Christmas.

  28. RxBambi ~ pecan pie is not difficult...very easy...just stir the stuff together and pour it in the shell. I'd love to have your cheesecake recipe....sounds awesome!

  29. We love pumpkin and I know Hubby and I enjoy pecan. Pecan is actually one of Hubby's favorite pies. I haven't made it since I helped my grandma probably 15 or more years ago, and I ended up getting them a little runny. Not bad, but enough to bother me. I haven't ever tried one on my own. I think I need to try though. Maybe for Christmas or at least by next Thanksgiving.
