Butterhorn Rolls

These homemade crescent rolls are a family favorite!
Recipe
~~~~
1 1/2 c milk
1 c butter
1/2 c sugar
Place these in large glass measuring cup, microwave 1 minute.
Pour warm mixture into electric mixer bowl and add....
3 eggs
1 t salt
1 pkg yeast
5 1/2 c flour (gradually as mixer is running)
Cover with damp towel and let rise until doubled.
Punch down. Oil top and cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate overnight.
~~~~
Divide into 4 balls. Roll each into a circle.
Brush with softenend butter (2T each circle).
Cut each circle into 16 wedges. I use a pizza wheel.
Roll into crescents, starting at the wide end.
Rise on cookie sheets 2 hours, lightly covered.
Bake 350 until golden, 10-12 minutes.

  11. They look and sound great, but if you painted them gray, they could be used as little alien larve in a movie!
