I found this wood sign last week.
I loved the soft, weather-worn look of it
and thought it would look nice on my
gray house. It would be perfect to hang
on the back porch with the pool towels!
hooks. They had initials on them that didn't
go with our family, so I hot glued baubles
and shells on them and grouted with sand.
so I opted for soft blue bath towels at just
$3 each...much less expensive than beach towels!
That looks fantastic, like it's out of a magazine. Can I come over?
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Betsy. What a lovely blend of sand, shells, gems, terry and wood. I can picture myself lazing on the beach right now. Someone please pass the sangria. Ahhhhhhhhhhh :^))
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and creative. ...Sounded so nice with the pool and all...:) Feel like joining you ;) Happy holiday and have a great weekend:)

I agree with Kayren, your picture does look like it should be in a magazine - which I really read anymore because bloggers like you have better ideas than the magazines.
ReplyDeletehope you all have a wonderful 4th weekend. smores and swimming sound wonderful.
Perfection, Betsy! The shell hooks are oh-so-you. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI'm with Suza...a Sangria is in order!
Lovely, Betsy! Looks like a magazine spread. I can never think what to do with craft materials I acquire. I know I should be able to do something clever, but I can never think what it might be.
ReplyDeletethe blue is really nice with the other neutrals...you have a nice spot for summer here.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is from a magazine...very pretty ....
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a magazine photo! Beautiful! Blue towels instead of King Kong or X-Men (like we have) are so much more restful.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th to you and your precious family. I love what you did with the staycation decor!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! That look is so soothing and comforting...makes me want to run to the beach for the weekend!!!

Those hooks are soooo pretty! Just perfect with your new sign!
ReplyDeleteYes, Amy saw your comment and agreed that it would make a nice header so she made me one!
